Make me to understand the way of thy justifications: and I shall be exercised in thy wondrous works.
praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created.
I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create evil. I, the Lord, that do all these things.
Thou shalt no more have the sun for thy light by day, neither shall the brightness of the moon enlighten thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee for an everlasting light, and thy God for thy glory.
And Jesus stretching forth his hand, touched him, saying: I will, be thou made clean. And forthwith his leprosy was cleansed.
And this is the judgment: because the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light: for their works were evil.
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Christ Jesus.
