⁴⁰ H3290And JacobH6504did separate[H8689] H3775the lambsH5414, and set[H8799] H6440the facesH6629of the flocksH413towardH6124the ringstrakedH2345, and all the brownH6629in the flockH3837of LabanH7896; and he put[H8799] H5739his own flocksH7896by themselves, and put[H8804] H3837them not unto Laban'sH6629cattle.

⁴¹ H7194And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger[H8794] H6629cattleH3179did conceive[H8763] H3290, that JacobH7760laid[H8804] H4731the rodsH5869before the eyesH6629of the cattleH7298in the guttersH3179, that they might conceive[H8763] H4731among the rods.

⁴² H6629But when the cattleH5848were feeble[H8687] H7760, he put them not in[H8799] H5848: so the feebler[H8803] H3837were Laban'sH7194, and the stronger[H8803] H3290Jacob's.
