² H559And he said[H8799] H3947, Take now[H8798] H1121thy sonH3173, thine onlyH3327son IsaacH157, whom thou lovest[H8804] H3212, and get thee[H8798] H776into the landH4179of MoriahH5927; and offer him[H8685] H5930there for a burnt offeringH259upon oneH2022of the mountainsH559which I will tell[H8799]  thee of.

³ H85And AbrahamH7925rose up early[H8686] H1242in the morningH2280, and saddled[H8799] H2543his assH3947, and took[H8799] H8147twoH5288of his young menH3327with him, and IsaacH1121his sonH1234, and clave[H8762] H6086the woodH5930for the burnt offeringH6965, and rose up[H8799] H3212, and went[H8799] H4725unto the placeH430of which GodH559had told[H8804]  him.

⁴ H7992Then on the thirdH3117dayH85AbrahamH5375lifted up[H8799] H5869his eyesH7200, and saw[H8799] H4725the placeH7350afar off.

⁵ H85And AbrahamH559said[H8799] H5288unto his young menH3427, Abide[H8798] H2543ye here with the assH5288; and I and the ladH3212will go[H8799] H3541yonderH7812and worship[H8691] H7725, and come again[H8799]  to you.

⁶ H85And AbrahamH3947took[H8799] H6086the woodH5930of the burnt offeringH7760, and laid[H8799] H3327it upon IsaacH1121his sonH3947; and he took[H8799] H784the fireH3027in his handH3979, and a knifeH3212; and they went[H8799] H8147bothH3162of them together.

⁷ H3327And IsaacH559spake[H8799] H85unto AbrahamH1his fatherH559, and said[H8799] H1, My fatherH559: and he said[H8799] H1121, Here am I, my sonH559. And he said[H8799] H784, Behold the fireH6086and the woodH7716: but where is the lambH5930for a burnt offering?

⁸ H85And AbrahamH559said[H8799] H1121, My sonH430, GodH7200will provide[H8799] H7716himself a lambH5930for a burnt offeringH3212: so they went[H8799] H8147both of themH3162together.

⁹ H935And they came[H8799] H4725to the placeH430which GodH559had told[H8804] H85him of; and AbrahamH1129built[H8799] H4196an altarH6186there, and laidH6086the woodH6186in order[H8799] H6123, and bound[H8799] H3327IsaacH1121his sonH7760, and laid[H8799] H4196him on the altarH4605uponH6086the wood.

¹⁰ H85And AbrahamH7971stretched forth[H8799] H3027his handH3947, and took[H8799] H3979the knifeH7819to slay[H8800] H1121his son.

¹¹ H4397And the angelH3068of the LORDH7121called[H8799] H8064unto him out of heavenH559, and said[H8799] H85, AbrahamH85, AbrahamH559: and he said[H8799] , Here am I.

¹² H559And he said[H8799] H7971, Lay[H8799] H3027not thine handH413uponH5288the ladH6213, neither do thou[H8799] H3972any thingH6258unto him: for nowH3045I know[H8804] H3373that thou fearestH430GodH3808, seeing thou hast notH2820withheld[H8804] H1121thy sonH3173, thine only son from me.

¹³ H85And AbrahamH5375lifted up[H8799] H5869his eyesH7200, and looked[H8799] H310, and behold behindH352him a ramH270caught[H8737] H5442in a thicketH7161by his hornsH85: and AbrahamH3212went[H8799] H3947and took[H8799] H352the ramH5927, and offered him up[H8686] H5930for a burnt offeringH8478in the steadH1121of his son.

¹⁴ H85And AbrahamH7121called[H8799] H8034the nameH4725of that placeH3070JehovahjirehH834: asH559it is said[H8735] H3117to this dayH2022, In the mountH3068of the LORDH7200it shall be seen[H8735] .

¹⁵ H4397And the angelH3068of the LORDH7121called[H8799] H85unto AbrahamH8064out of heavenH8145the second time,

¹⁶ H559And said[H8799] H7650, By myself have I sworn[H8738] H5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH3282, for becauseH834 H6213thou hast done[H8804] H1697this thingH3808, and hast notH2820withheld[H8804] H1121thy sonH3173, thine only son :

¹⁷ H1288That in blessing[H8763] H1288I will bless[H8762] H7235thee, and in multiplying[H8687] H7235I will multiply[H8686] H2233thy seedH3556as the starsH8064of the heavenH2344, and as the sandH3220which is upon the seaH8193shoreH2233; and thy seedH3423shall possess[H8799] H8179the gateH341of his enemies[H8802] ;

¹⁸ H2233And in thy seedH1471shall all the nationsH776of the earthH1288be blessed[H8694] H834; becauseH6118 H8085thou hast obeyed[H8804] H6963my voice.

¹⁹ H85So AbrahamH7725returned[H8799] H5288unto his young menH6965, and they rose up[H8799] H3212and went[H8799] H3162togetherH884to BeershebaH85; and AbrahamH3427dwelt[H8799] H884at Beersheba.

²⁰ H310And it came to pass afterH1697these thingsH5046, that it was told[H8714] H85AbrahamH559, saying[H8800] H4435, Behold, MilcahH3205, she hath also born[H8804] H1121childrenH251unto thy brotherH5152Nahor;

²² H3777And ChesedH2375, and HazoH6394, and PildashH3044, and JidlaphH1328, and Bethuel.

²³ H1328And BethuelH3205begat[H8804] H7259RebekahH8083: these eightH4435MilcahH3205did bear[H8804] H5152to NahorH85, Abraham'sH251brother.

²⁴ H6370And his concubineH8034, whose nameH7208was ReumahH3205, she bare[H8799] H2875also TebahH1514, and GahamH8477, and ThahashH4601, and Maachah.
