² H3986For if thou refuseH7971to let them go[H8763] H2388, and wilt hold[H8688]  them still,

³ H3027Behold, the handH3068of the LORDH1961is[H8802] H4735upon thy cattleH7704which is in the fieldH5483, upon the horsesH2543, upon the assesH1581, upon the camelsH1241, upon the oxenH6629, and upon the sheepH3966: there shall be a veryH3515grievousH1698murrain.

⁴ H3068And the LORDH6395shall sever[H8689] H4735between the cattleH3478of IsraelH4735and the cattleH4714of EgyptH1697: and there shall nothingH4191die[H8799] H1121of all that is the children'sH3478of Israel.

⁵ H3068And the LORDH7760appointed[H8799] H4150a set timeH559, saying[H8800] H4279, To morrowH3068the LORDH6213shall do[H8799] H1697this thingH776in the land.

⁶ H3068And the LORDH6213did[H8799] H1697that thingH4283on the morrowH4735, and all the cattleH4714of EgyptH4191died[H8799] H4735: but of the cattleH1121of the childrenH3478of IsraelH4191died[H8804] H259not one.

¹⁴ H6471For I will at this timeH7971send[H8802] H4046all my plaguesH3820upon thine heartH5650, and upon thy servantsH5971, and upon thy peopleH3045; that thou mayest know[H8799] H776that there is none like me in all the earth.

¹⁵ H7971For now I will stretch out[H8804] H3027my handH5221, that I may smite[H8686] H5971thee and thy peopleH1698with pestilenceH3582; and thou shalt be cut off[H8735] H776from the earth.

¹⁶ H199And in veryH5668deedH5975for this cause have I raised thee up[H8689] H7200, for to shew[H8687] H3581in thee my powerH8034; and that my nameH5608may be declared[H8763] H776throughout all the earth.

¹⁷ H5549As yet exaltest[H8706] H5971thou thyself against my peopleH7971, that thou wilt not let them go[H8763] ?

¹⁸ H4279Behold, to morrowH6256about this timeH4305I will cause it to rain[H8688] H3966a veryH3515grievousH1259hailH3644, such as hath not beenH4714in EgyptH4480sinceH3117the foundationH3245 [H8736]  thereof even until now.

¹⁹ H7971Send[H8798] H5756therefore now, and gather[H8685] H4735thy cattleH7704, and all that thou hast in the fieldH120; for upon every manH929and beastH4672which shall be found[H8735] H7704in the fieldH622, and shall not be brought[H8735] H1004homeH1259, the hailH3381shall come down[H8804] H4191upon them, and they shall die[H8804] .

²⁰ H3373He that fearedH1697the wordH3068of the LORDH5650among the servantsH6547of PharaohH5650made his servantsH4735and his cattleH5127flee[H8689] H1004into the houses:

²¹ H7760And he that regarded[H8804] H3820 H1697not the wordH3068of the LORDH5800left[H8799] H5650his servantsH4735and his cattleH7704in the field.

²² H3068And the LORDH559said[H8799] H4872unto MosesH5186, Stretch forth[H8798] H3027thine handH8064toward heavenH1259, that there may be hailH776in all the landH4714of EgyptH120, upon manH929, and upon beastH6212, and upon every herbH7704of the fieldH776, throughout the landH4714of Egypt.

²³ H4872And MosesH5186stretched forth[H8799] H4294his rodH8064toward heavenH3068: and the LORDH5414sent[H8804] H6963thunderH1259and hailH784, and the fireH1980ran along[H8799] H776upon the groundH3068; and the LORDH4305rained[H8686] H1259hailH776upon the landH4714of Egypt.

²⁴ H1259So there was hailH784, and fireH3947 [H8693] H8432mingledH1259with the hailH3966, veryH3515grievousH3808, such as there was noneH776like it in all the landH4714of EgyptH1471since it became a nation.

²⁵ H1259And the hailH5221smote[H8686] H776throughout all the landH4714of EgyptH7704all that was in the fieldH120, both manH929and beastH1259; and the hailH5221smote[H8689] H6212every herbH7704of the fieldH7665, and brake[H8765] H6086every treeH7704of the field.

²⁶ H776Only in the landH1657of GoshenH1121, where the childrenH3478of IsraelH1259were, was there no hail.

²⁷ H6547And PharaohH7971sent[H8799] H7121, and called[H8799] H4872for MosesH175and AaronH559, and said[H8799] H2398unto them, I have sinned[H8804] H6471this timeH3068: the LORDH6662is righteousH5971, and I and my peopleH7563are wicked.

²⁸ H6279Intreat[H8685] H3068the LORDH7227(for it is enoughH430) that there be no more mightyH6963thunderingsH1259and hailH7971; and I will let you go[H8762] H5975, and ye shall stay[H8800] H3254no longer[H8686] .

²⁹ H4872And MosesH559said[H8799] H3318unto him, As soon as I am gone out[H8800] H5892of the cityH6566, I will spread abroad[H8799] H3709my handsH3068unto the LORDH6963; and the thunderH2308shall cease[H8799] H1259, neither shall there be any more hailH3045; that thou mayest know[H8799] H776how that the earthH3068is the LORD'S.

³⁰ H5650But as for thee and thy servantsH3045, I know[H8804] H3372that ye will not yet fear[H8799] H6440 H3068the LORDH430God.

³¹ H6594And the flaxH8184and the barleyH5221was smitten[H8795] H8184: for the barleyH24was in the earH6594, and the flaxH1392was bolled.

³² H2406But the wheatH3698and the rieH5221were not smitten[H8795] H2007: for theyH648were not grown up.

³³ H4872And MosesH3318went out[H8799] H5892of the cityH6547from PharaohH6566, and spread abroad[H8799] H3709his handsH3068unto the LORDH6963: and the thundersH1259and hailH2308ceased[H8799] H4306, and the rainH5413was not poured[H8738] H776upon the earth.

³⁴ H6547And when PharaohH7200saw[H8799] H4306that the rainH1259and the hailH6963and the thundersH2308were ceased[H8804] H2398, he sinned[H8800] H3254yet more[H8686] H3513, and hardened[H8686] H3820his heartH5650, he and his servants.

³⁵ H3820And the heartH6547of PharaohH2388was hardened[H8799] H1121, neither would he let the childrenH3478of IsraelH7971go[H8765] H3068; as the LORDH1696had spoken[H8765] H3027byH4872Moses.
