¹ H7200Thou shalt not see[H8799] H251thy brother'sH7794oxH7716or his sheepH5080go astray[H8737] H5956, and hide[H8694] H7725thyself from them: thou shalt in any case[H8687] H7725bring them again[H8686] H251unto thy brother.

² H251And if thy brotherH7138be not nighH3045unto thee, or if thou know[H8804] H622him not, then thou shalt bring[H8804] H8432it untoH1004thine own houseH251, and it shall be with thee until thy brotherH1875seek[H8800] H7725after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again[H8689] .

³ H3651In like mannerH6213shalt thou do[H8799] H2543with his assH6213; and so shalt thou do[H8799] H8071with his raimentH9; and with all lost thingH251of thy brother'sH6, which he hath lost[H8799] H4672, and thou hast found[H8804] H6213, shalt thou do[H8799] H3201likewise: thou mayest[H8799] H5956not hide[H8692]  thyself.

⁴ H7200Thou shalt not see[H8799] H251thy brother'sH2543assH7794or his oxH5307fall down[H8802] H1870by the wayH5956, and hide[H8694] H6965thyself from them: thou shalt surely[H8687] H6965help him to lift them up again[H8686] .

⁵ H802The womanH3627shall not wear that which pertainethH1397unto a manH1397, neither shall a manH3847put[H8799] H802on a woman'sH8071garmentH6213: for all that do[H8802] H428soH8441are abominationH3068unto the LORDH430thy God.

⁶ H6833If a bird'sH7064nestH7122chance[H8735] H6440to be beforeH1870thee in the wayH6086in any treeH776, or on the groundH667, whether they be young onesH1000, or eggsH517, and the damH7257sitting[H8802] H667upon the youngH1000, or upon the eggsH3947, thou shalt not take[H8799] H517the damH1121with the young:

⁷ H7971But thou shalt in any wise[H8763] H517let the damH7971go[H8762] H3947, and take[H8799] H1121the youngH3190to thee; that it may be well[H8799] H748with thee, and that thou mayest prolong[H8689] H3117thy days.

⁸ H1129When thou buildest[H8799] H2319a newH1004houseH6213, then thou shalt make[H8804] H4624a battlementH1406for thy roofH7760, that thou bring[H8799] H1818not bloodH1004upon thine houseH5307, if any man[H8802] H5307fall[H8799]  from thence.

¹³ H376If any manH3947take[H8799] H802a wifeH935, and go in[H8804] H8130unto her, and hate[H8804]  her,

¹⁵ H1Then shall the fatherH5291of the damselH517, and her motherH3947, take[H8804] H3318and bring forth[H8689] H5291the tokens of the damsel'sH1331virginityH2205unto the eldersH5892of the cityH8179in the gate:

¹⁶ H5291And the damsel'sH1fatherH559shall say[H8804] H2205unto the eldersH5414, I gave[H8804] H1323my daughterH376unto this manH802to wifeH8130, and he hateth[H8799]  her;

¹⁷ H7760And, lo, he hath given[H8804] H5949occasionsH1697of speechH559against her, saying[H8800] H4672, I found[H8804] H1323not thy daughterH1331a maidH1323; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter'sH1331virginityH6566. And they shall spread[H8804] H8071the clothH6440beforeH2205the eldersH5892of the city.

¹⁸ H2205And the eldersH5892of that cityH3947shall take[H8804] H376that manH3256and chastise[H8765]  him;

¹⁹ H6064And they shall amerce[H8804] H3967him in an hundredH3701shekels of silverH5414, and give[H8804] H1them unto the fatherH5291of the damselH3318, because he hath brought up[H8689] H7451an evilH8034nameH1330upon a virginH3478of IsraelH802: and she shall be his wifeH3201; he may[H8799] H7971not put her away[H8763] H3117all his days.

²⁰ H1697But if this thingH571be trueH1331, and the tokens of virginityH4672be not found[H8738] H5291for the damsel:

²¹ H3318Then they shall bring out[H8689] H5291the damselH6607to the doorH1of her father'sH1004houseH582, and the menH5892of her cityH5619shall stone[H8804] H68her with stonesH4191that she die[H8804] H6213: because she hath wrought[H8804] H5039follyH3478in IsraelH2181, to play the whore[H8800] H1in her father'sH1004houseH1197: so shalt thou putH7451evilH1197away[H8765] H7130from among you.

²² H376If a manH4672be found[H8735] H7901lying[H8802] H802with a womanH1166married[H8803] H1167to an husbandH8147, then they shall both of themH4191die[H8804] H376, both the manH7901that lay[H8802] H802with the womanH802, and the womanH1197: so shalt thou put away[H8765] H7451evilH3478from Israel.

²³ H5291If a damselH1330that is a virginH781be betrothed[H8794] H376unto an husbandH376, and a manH4672find[H8804] H5892her in the cityH7901, and lie[H8804]  with her;

²⁴ H3318Then ye shall bring[H8689] H8147them bothH8179out unto the gateH5892of that cityH5619, and ye shall stone[H8804] H68them with stonesH4191that they die[H8804] H5291; the damselH834, becauseH1697 H6817she cried[H8804] H5892not, being in the cityH376; and the manH834, becauseH1697 H6031he hath humbled[H8765] H7453his neighbour'sH802wifeH1197: so thou shalt put away[H8765] H7451evilH7130from among you.

²⁵ H376But if a manH4672find[H8799] H781a betrothed[H8794] H5291damselH7704in the fieldH376, and the manH2388force[H8689] H7901her, and lie[H8804] H376with her: then the manH7901only that lay[H8804] H4191with her shall die[H8804] :

²⁶ H5291But unto the damselH6213thou shalt do[H8799] H1697nothingH5291; there is in the damselH2399no sinH4194worthy of deathH376: for as when a manH6965riseth[H8799] H7453against his neighbourH7523, and slayeth[H8804] [H8676] H5315 H1697him, even so is this matter:

²⁷ H4672For he found[H8804] H7704her in the fieldH781, and the betrothed[H8794] H5291damselH6817cried[H8804] H3467, and there was none to save[H8688]  her.

²⁸ H376If a manH4672find[H8799] H5291a damselH1330that is a virginH781, which is not betrothed[H8795] H8610, and lay hold[H8804] H7901on her, and lie[H8804] H4672with her, and they be found[H8738] ;

²⁹ H376Then the manH7901that lay[H8802] H5414with her shall give[H8804] H5291unto the damsel'sH1fatherH2572fiftyH3701shekels of silverH802, and she shall be his wifeH6031; because he hath humbled[H8765] H3201her, he may[H8799] H7971not put her away[H8763] H3117all his days.

³⁰ H376A manH3947shall not take[H8799] H1his father'sH802wifeH1540, nor discover[H8762] H1his father'sH3671skirt.
