³ H7392And they set[H8686] H727the arkH430of GodH2319upon a newH5699cartH5375, and brought[H8799] H1004it out of the houseH41of AbinadabH1390that was in GibeahH5798: and UzzahH283and AhioH1121, the sonsH41of AbinadabH5090, drave[H8802] H2319the newH5699cart.

⁵ H1732And DavidH1004and all the houseH3478of IsraelH7832played[H8764] H6440beforeH3068the LORDH1265on all manner of instruments made of firH6086woodH3658, even on harpsH5035, and on psalteriesH8596, and on timbrelsH4517, and on cornetsH6767, and on cymbals.

⁶ H935And when they came[H8799] H5225to Nachon'sH1637threshingfloorH5798, UzzahH7971put forth[H8799] H727his hand to the arkH430of GodH270, and took hold[H8799] H1241of it; for the oxenH8058shook[H8804]  it .

⁷ H639And the angerH3068of the LORDH2734was kindled[H8799] H5798against UzzahH430; and GodH5221smote[H8686] H7944him there for his errorH4191; and there he died[H8799] H727by the arkH430of God.

⁸ H1732And DavidH2734was displeased[H8799] H3068, because the LORDH6555had made[H8804] H6556a breachH5798upon UzzahH7121: and he called[H8799] H4725the name of the placeH6560PerezuzzahH3117to this day.

⁹ H1732And DavidH3372was afraid[H8799] H3068of the LORDH3117that dayH559, and said[H8799] H727, How shall the arkH3068of the LORDH935come[H8799]  to me?

¹⁰ H1732So DavidH14would[H8804] H5493not remove[H8687] H727the arkH3068of the LORDH5892unto him into the cityH1732of DavidH1732: but DavidH5186carried it aside[H8686] H1004into the houseH5654of ObededomH1663the Gittite.

¹⁷ H935And they brought[H8686] H727in the arkH3068of the LORDH3322, and set[H8686] H4725it in his placeH8432, in the midstH168of the tabernacleH1732that DavidH5186had pitched[H8804] H1732for it: and DavidH5927offered[H8686] H5930burnt offeringsH8002and peace offeringsH6440beforeH3068the LORD.

¹⁸ H1732And as soon as DavidH3615had made an end[H8762] H5927of offering[H8687] H5930burnt offeringsH8002and peace offeringsH1288, he blessed[H8762] H5971the peopleH8034in the nameH3068of the LORDH6635of hosts.

¹⁹ H2505And he dealt[H8762] H5971among all the peopleH1995, even among the whole multitudeH3478of IsraelH802, as well to the womenH376as menH376, to every oneH259aH2471cakeH3899of breadH829, and a good pieceH809of flesh, and a flagonH5971of wine . So all the peopleH3212departed[H8799] H376every oneH1004to his house.

²⁰ H1732Then DavidH7725returned[H8799] H1288to bless[H8763] H1004his householdH4324. And MichalH1323the daughterH7586of SaulH3318came out[H8799] H7125to meet[H8800] H1732DavidH559, and said[H8799] H3513, How glorious[H8738] H4428was the kingH3478of IsraelH3117to dayH1540, who uncovered[H8738] H3117himself to dayH5869in the eyesH519of the handmaidsH5650of his servantsH259, as oneH7386of the vain fellowsH1540shamelessly[H8736] H1540uncovereth[H8736]  himself!

²¹ H1732And DavidH559said[H8799] H4324unto MichalH6440, It was beforeH3068the LORDH977, which chose[H8804] H1me before thy fatherH1004, and before all his houseH6680, to appoint[H8763] H5057me rulerH5971over the peopleH3068of the LORDH3478, over IsraelH7832: therefore will I play[H8765] H6440beforeH3068the LORD.

²² H7043And I will yet be more vile[H8738] H2063than thusH8217, and will be baseH5869in mine own sightH519: and of the maidservantsH559which thou hast spoken[H8804] H3513of, of them shall I be had in honour[H8735] .

²³ H4324Therefore MichalH1323the daughterH7586of SaulH2056had no child[H8675] H3206 H3117unto the dayH4194of her death.
