Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, “Amen. May YHWH, the God of my lord the king, say so.
Blessed be YHWH, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen,” and praised YHWH.
Yours, YHWH, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty! For all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, YHWH, and you are exalted as head above all.
Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my border! May your hand be with me, and may you keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” God granted him that which he requested.
YHWH is King forever and ever! The nations will perish from ʜɪꜱ land.

I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would protect them from the evil one.
No temptation has overtaken y’all except what is common to humankind. God is faithful, and he will not allow y’all to be tempted beyond what y’all are able, but with the temptation will make the way of escape, so that y’all will be able to endure it.
Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will the one who fills the place of the uneducated say “Amen” at your giving of thanks, since they don’t know what you are saying?
For every promise of God is a “Yes” in him. And so through him is an “Amen” to the glory of God through us.

Others were tried by mocking and scourging, yes, even chains and imprisonment.
Y’all be sober-minded and alert. Y’all’s adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
The one who does what is sinful is from the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this: that he might destroy the works of the devil.
