After these things, God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” He said, “Here I am.”


However, concerning the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent to him to inquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him to test him, that he might know all that was in his heart.


So YHWH blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.


You are good, and do good. Teach me your statutes.


Then he cried to YHWH. YHWH showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there he tested them.


When the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they didn’t know what it was. Moses said to them, “It is the bread which YHWH has given y’all to eat.


The house of Israel called its name “Manna”, and it was like coriander seed, white; and its taste was like wafers with honey.


Then YHWH said to Moses, “Look! I am going to rain bread from the heavens for y’all. The people are to go out and gather a day’s portion every day. This way I will test them, as to whether they will walk in my law or not.


Moses said to the people, “Y’all must not be afraid, for God has come to test y’all, that ʜɪꜱ fear may be with y’all, so that y’all won’t sin.”


The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold, but YHWH tests the hearts.


Some of those who are wise will fall—to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for the time appointed.


We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to ʜɪꜱ purpose.


For our momentary, lightweight oppression is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.


you must not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams. For YHWH your* God is testing y’all to learn whether y’all love YHWH your* God with your* whole heart and with your* whole soul.


You must remember all the way which YHWH your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, test you, and know what was in your heart, whether you would keep ʜɪꜱ commandments or not.


Hᴇ humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna that you and your ancestors didn’t know, in order to teach you that humans do not live by bread alone, but humans are to live by every word that proceeds from YHWH’s mouth.


Blessed is the one who endures testing, because after being approved, that person will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love ʜɪᴍ.


that the proof of y’all’s faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes, even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
