David said to Gad, “I am in distress. Let me fall, I pray, into YHWH’s hand, for his mercies are very great. Don’t let me fall into man’s hand.”


For if y’all turn back to YHWH, y’all’s siblings and children will find compassion with those who led them captive, and will come again into this land, because YHWH y’all’s God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn ʜɪꜱ face away from y’all if y’all return to ʜɪᴍ.”

Like a father has compassion on ʜɪꜱ children, so YHWH has compassion on those who fear ʜɪᴍ.


YHWH is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness.


YHWH is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful.


Turn to me, and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name.


YHWH is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness.


Watch the blameless, and see the upright, for there is a future for the person of peace.


Have mercy on me, God, according to your lovingkindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.

Better is the end of a thing than its beginning. The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.


I will tell of the lovingkindnesses of YHWH and the praises of YHWH, according to all that YHWH has given to us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has given to them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.


In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.


It is because of YHWH’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies don’t fail.


The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against ʜɪᴍ.


Y’all must tear your* heart and not your* garments. Y’all must turn to YHWH, your God; for ʜᴇ is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and relents from sending calamity.


He prayed to YHWH, and said, “Please, YHWH, wasn’t this what I said when I was still in my own country? This is what I tried to prevent by fleeing to Tarshish. For I knew that you are a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and you relent of doing harm.


Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in lovingkindness.


‘YHWH is slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and disobedience; and he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation.’


Y’all will be hated by everyone for my name’s sake, but the one who endures to the end will be saved.


Hɪꜱ mercy is upon generations after generations on those who fear ʜɪᴍ.


For everyone who asks, receives. The one who seeks, finds. And to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.


“Therefore y’all are to be merciful, just as your* Father is also merciful.


Or do you disdain the riches of ʜɪꜱ kindness, self-restraint, and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?


to the praise of the glory of ʜɪꜱ grace, by which ʜᴇ freely gave us favor in the Beloved.


But God, being rich in mercy, because of ʜɪꜱ great love with which ʜᴇ loved us,


But we are not among those who shrink back to destruction, but among those who have faith that preserves the soul.


For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold our initial confidence firmly to the end,


But Christ is faithful as a Son over God’s house. We are ʜɪꜱ house, if we hold fast our confidence and the hope in which we boast.


Blessed is the one who endures testing, because after being approved, that person will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love ʜɪᴍ.


Y’all should consider it all joy, my siblings, when y’all fall into various trials,


Therefore, tightening a belt around y’all’s thoughts and being fully sober-minded, set your* hope fully on the grace that will be brought to y’all at the revelation of Jesus Christ.


But even if y’all should suffer for the sake of righteousness, y’all are blessed. “Y’all must not fear what they fear, and do not be troubled.”


then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
