He looked behind him and saw them, and cursed them in the name of YHWH. Then two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of those youths.


David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of God home to me?”


Because y’all didn’t carry it the first time, YHWH our God broke out in anger against us, for we did not seek ʜɪᴍ according to the ordinance.”


My flesh trembles for fear of you. I am afraid of your judgments. AYIN


All humankind will be afraid. They will declare the work of God, and ponder what ʜᴇ has done.


Therefore YHWH, the God of Armies says, “Because y’all have said this word, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it will devour them.


When I prophesied, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, “Ah Lord YHWH! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”


Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what YHWH spoke of, saying, ‘I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.


Now, look, the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, not seeing the sun for a time!” Immediately mist and darkness came over him. He went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.


Awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were performed through the apostles.


None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high regard.


So what do y’all want? Should I come to y’all with a rod or in love and a spirit of gentleness?


This is the reason I am writing these things while absent: so that I won’t have to be severe when present, according to the authority the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.


I said previously when I was present the second time, and though now I am absent, I say again to those sinned previously and to all the rest that if I come again, I will not spare anyone,


Look at what this godly sorrow has produced in y’all—what earnestness, what reasoned defense, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what vindication! In every way, y’all have shown yourselves to be innocent in this matter.


All Israel will hear, and fear, and they will not do any more wickedness like this among you.


All the men of his city are to stone him to death with stones. In this way, you purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear and fear.


Didn’t Achan the son of Zerah act unfaithfully in the devoted thing, causing wrath to fall on all the congregation of Israel? That man didn’t perish alone in his iniquity.’”


In that very hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake, seven thousand humans were killed, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.


If anyone who wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. Anyone who wants to harm them must be killed in this way.
