Moses said to the people, “Remember this day when y’all came out of Egypt, out from the house of slavery, for YHWH brought y’all out with a mighty hand. No leavened bread may be eaten.


Flog a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; rebuke one who has understanding, and he will gain knowledge.


When the mocker is punished, the simple gains wisdom. When the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge.


“Moreover, you are to tell the children of Israel, ‘Anyone of the children of Israel, or of the foreigners who reside in Israel, who gives any of his offspring to Molech must be executed-executed. The people of the land are to stone that person with stones.


YHWH said to Moses, “Take all the chiefs of the people, and hang them up to YHWH before the sun, that the fierce anger of YHWH may turn away from Israel.”


If you hear about one of your cities, which YHWH your God gives you to dwell there, that


All the people will hear and fear, and do no more presumptuously.


Those who remain will hear this and be afraid, and they will never again commit any such evil among you.
