The elder and the honorable man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail.


For many are called, but few chosen.*


Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.


Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.


*Behold, I have told you beforehand.


He will send out his angels with a great sound of a shofar, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.


For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Messiah,' and will lead many astray.


*Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.


For there will arise false messiahs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.


Won't God avenge his chosen ones, who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?

Who is the liar but he who denies that Yeshua is the Messiah? This is the Anti-messiah, he who denies the Father and the Son.


We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn't touch him.


The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
