Yisra'el said to Yosef, *Behold, I am dying, but God will be with you, and bring you again to the land of your fathers.


Yosef said to his brothers, *I am dying, but God will surely visit you, and bring you up out of this land to the land which he swore to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov.*


For he remembered his holy word, and Avraham, his servant.


For the LORD will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants.


Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, Egypt, on Par`oh, and on all his servants;


Against you, and you only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight; that you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.


It happened at midnight, that the LORD struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Par`oh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of livestock.


Come now therefore, and I will send you to Par`oh, that you may bring forth my people, the children of Yisra'el, out of Egypt.*


'I will judge the nation to which they will be in bondage,' said God, 'and after that will they come out, and serve me in this place.'


But the LORD has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as at this day.


and the LORD showed great and awesome signs and wonders on Egypt, on Par`oh, and on all his house, before our eyes;


for the LORD our God, he it is who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way in which we went, and among all the peoples through the midst of whom we passed;


When Ya`akov was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried to the LORD, then the LORD sent Moshe and Aharon, who brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them to dwell in this place.
