After these things Sha'ul departed from Athens, and came to Korint.


Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with all his house. Many of the Corinthians, when they heard, believed and were immersed.


This became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who lived at Ephesus. Fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Yeshua was magnified.


You see and hear, that not at Ephesus alone, but almost throughout all Asia, this Sha'ul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are no gods, that are made with hands.


For Sha'ul had determined to sail past Ephesus, that he might not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hastening, if it were possible for him, to be in Yerushalayim on the day of Shavu`ot.


When they had come to him, he said to them, *You yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, how I was with you all the time,


For they had seen Trophimus, the Ephesian, with him in the city, and they supposed that Sha'ul had brought him into the temple.


Now I mean this, that each one of you says, *I follow Sha'ul,* *I follow Apollos,* *I follow Kefa,* and, *I follow Messiah.*


If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then *let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.*


Now concerning Apollos, the brother, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers; and it was not at all his desire to come now; but he will come when he has an opportunity.


But I will stay at Ephesus until Shavu`ot,


Now these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that in us you might learn not to think beyond the things which are written, that none of you be puffed up against one another.
