neither will I cause the feet of Yisra'el to wander any more out of the land which I gave their fathers, if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moshe commanded them.
and refused to obey, neither were mindful of your wonders that you did among them, but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But you are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and didn't forsake them.
Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.

As the nations that the LORD makes to perish before you, so shall you perish; because you wouldn't listen to the voice of the LORD your God.

Now it happened after the death of Moshe the servant of the LORD, that the LORD spoke to Yehoshua the son of Nun, Moshe' servant, saying,
and, *a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.* For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.
For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don't obey the Good News of God?
