Our enemies’ armies would have been\par like a flood washing over us,\par like a river drowning us.\par


Lord, your love is good.\par Answer me with all your love.\par With all your kindness,\par turn to me and help me!\par


God, you have such great love for me.\par You save me from the place of death.\par


A person never knows what will happen to him next. He is like a fish caught in a net—the fish does not know what will happen. He is like a bird caught in a trap—the bird does not know what will happen. In the same way, a person is trapped by the bad things that suddenly happen to him.


Jesus suffered the pain of death, but God made him free. God raised Jesus from death. Death could not hold Jesus.
