My life is always in danger.\par But I have not forgotten your teachings.\par


I enjoy your laws.\par I will not forget your words.\par


I wandered away like a lost sheep.\par Come looking for me, Lord.\par I am your servant,\par and I have not forgotten your commands.\par


So, am I a worm and not a man?\par The people are ashamed of me.\par The people despise me.\par


Master, I am only a poor, helpless man.\par Help me. Save me.\par My God, don’t be too late!\par


It is better to be poor and respect the Lord than to be rich and have many troubles.


It is better to gain only a little the right way than to gain much through cheating.


It is better to be poor and honest than to be a fool that tells lies and cheats people.


My son, don’t forget my teaching. Remember the things I tell you to do.


People made fun of him, and his friends left him. He was a man that had much pain. He knew sickness very well. People did not even give him the honor of looking at him. We did not even notice him.


Jesus looked at his followers and said,


Jesus answered, “The foxes have holes to live in. The birds have nests to live in. But the Son of Man {\cf2\super [178]} has no place where he can rest his head.”


You know the grace (kindness) of our Lord Jesus Christ. You know that Christ was rich \{with God\}, but for you he became poor. Christ did this so that you could become rich by his becoming poor.


Listen, my dear brothers and sisters! God chose the poor people in the world to be rich with faith. He chose them to receive the kingdom God promised to people who love him.
