His words are only worthless lies.\par He does not become wise\par or learn to do good.\par
“They {\cf2\super [475]} don’t know what is happening.\par They don’t understand!\par They don’t know what they are doing,\par Their world is falling down around them!”\par
If a person leaves the way of wisdom, then he is going toward destruction.
But bad people are like a dark night. They are lost in the darkness and they fall over things they can’t see.
Those people don’t know the way of peace. Those people don’t do what is right and fair. They are very crooked. And people who live like that will never have peace in their lives.
If a good person changes and becomes evil, then he must die for the bad things he does.
Some people turned away from the Lord. They quit following me. Those people stopped asking the Lord for help. So I will remove those people from that place.”
Then Jesus said, “The light will be with you for only a short time more. So walk while you have the light. Then the darkness (sin) will not catch you. The person that walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
People knew God. But they did not give glory to God, and they did not thank him. Their ideas were all useless. There was not one good thought left in their foolish minds.
Demas loved this world too much. That is why he left me. He went to Thessalonica. Crescens went to Galatia. And Titus went to Dalmatia.
Those enemies of Christ were in our group. But they left us. They did not really belong with us. If they were really part of our group, then they would have stayed with us. But they left. This shows that none of them really belonged with us.
