Heaven and Earth, listen to the Lord! The Lord says,


Be surprised and amazed!\par You will become drunk—\par but not from wine.\par Look and be amazed!\par You will stumble and fall—\par but not from beer.\par


Listen to the things the Lord says:\par “Ask the other nations this question:\par ‘Have you ever heard of anyone\par doing the evil things Israel has done?’\par And Israel is special to God.\par Israel is like God’s bride!\par


Land, land, land of Judah!\par Listen to the message of the Lord!\par


I looked at the earth.\par The earth was empty;\par nothing was on the earth.\par I looked at the sky.\par and its light was gone. {\cf2\super [29]} \par


Hear this, people of the earth.\par I am going to bring disaster\par to the people of Judah.\par Why? Because of all the bad things\par that those people planned.\par And because they ignored my messages.\par Those people refused to obey my law.”\par
