The people who make and trust those statues\par will become just like them!\par
And the people who made the statues\par will become just like them!\par Why? Because they trusted those statues\par to help them.\par
You said,\par ‘I will live forever.\par I will always be The Queen.’\par You didn’t even notice the bad things\par you did to those people.\par You didn’t think about what would happen.\par
“But even then,\par you didnt listen to me!\par You didn‘t learn anything!\par You refused to listen to anything\par I told you.\par I have known since the beginning\par that you would be against me.\par You have rebelled against me\par from the time you were born.\par
The Lord says,\par “\{People of Israel, you say that I divorced\par your mother, Jerusalem.\}\par But where is the legal paper\par that proves I divorced her?\par My children, did I owe money to someone?\par Did I sell you to pay a debt?\par No! The boy realized that he had been very foolish. He thought, ‘All of my father’s servants have plenty of food. But I am here, almost dead because I have nothing to eat.
Brothers and sisters, don’t think like children. In evil things be like babies. But in your thinking you should be like full-grown people.
And everything that is made easy to see can become light. This is why we say:
