An evil man cheats people and takes their money. But a person that is fair and does right will get the real reward.
Giving money to poor people is like loaning it to the Lord. The Lord will pay you back for being kind to them.
A person who gives freely will be blessed. He will be blessed because he shares his food with poor people.
Do good things every place you go. {\cf2\super [41]} After a while, the good things you do will come back to you.
So begin planting early in the morning, and don’t stop working until evening. Why? Because you don’t know which things will make you rich. Maybe everything you do will be successful.
Give to other people, and you will receive. You will be given much. It will be poured into your hands—more than you can hold. You will be given so much that it will spill into your lap. The way you give to other people is the way God will give to you.”
This is what I mean: One of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another person says, “I follow Apollos.” Another person says, “I follow Cephas (Peter),” and another person says, “I follow Christ.”
But Christ has truly been raised from death—the first one of all those \{believers\} who will be raised from death.

So I tell you: Live by following the Spirit. {\cf2\super [71]} Then you will not do the evil things your sinful selves want.
For the Lord I tell you this. I warn you: Don’t continue living like those people who don’t believe. Their thoughts are worth nothing.
I tell you these things so that no person can fool you by telling you ideas that seem good, but are false.
God is fair. God will remember all the work you have done. And God will remember that you showed your love to him by helping his people. And God will remember that you continue to help his people.
