but when they turned to the Lord God of Israel in their distress and sought him, he was found by them.
But as soon as they had relief, they again did what was evil in your sight. So you abandoned them to the power of their enemies, who dominated them. When they cried out to you again, you heard from heaven and rescued them many times in your compassion.
If you return to the Almighty, you will be renewed. If you banish injustice from your tent
I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.
