And now, may the terror of the Lord be on you. Watch what you do, for there is no injustice or partiality or taking bribes with the Lord our God.’


God is not partial  to princes and does not favour the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands.


So they sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians.  ‘Teacher,’ they said, ‘we know that you are truthful and teach truthfully the way of God. You don’t care what anyone thinks nor do you show partiality.  ,


Then  he began to teach them, saying:


They questioned him, ‘Teacher, we know that you speak and teach correctly,  and you don’t show partiality  , but teach truthfully the way of God.


So I immediately sent for you, and it was good of you to come. So now we are all in the presence of God to hear everything you have been commanded by the Lord.’


He made no distinction between us and them,  cleansing their hearts by faith.


Philip proceeded to tell him the good news about Jesus, beginning with that Scripture.


For there is no favouritism with God.


Or is God the God of Jews only?  Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,


Now from those recognised as important (what they  once were makes no difference to me; God does not show favouritism  ,) #– #they added nothing to me.


And masters, treat your slaves the same way, without threatening  them, because you know that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favouritism  with him.


Do not show partiality when deciding a case;  listen to small and great alike. Do not be intimidated by anyone, for judgement belongs to God.  Bring me any case too difficult for you, and I will hear it.


For the Lord your God is the God of gods  and Lord of lords,  the great, mighty, and awe-inspiring God, showing no partiality and taking no bribe.


Do not deny justice or show partiality to anyone. Do not accept a bribe, for it blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.


In Christ there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.


For the wrongdoer  will be paid back for whatever wrong he has done, and there is no favouritism.


My brothers and sisters, do not show favouritism as you hold on to the faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ.


haven’t you made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?


If, however, you show favouritism,  you commit sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.


If you appeal to the Father who judges impartially  according to each one’s work,  you are to conduct yourselves in reverence  during your time living as strangers.
