For [there will be] peacefor the seed:the vinewill yieldits fruit,the landwill yieldits produceand the heavenswill givetheir dew;and I will cause the remnantof thispeopleto inheritallthese[things].
Now Isaacsowedin that landand reapedin the sameyeara hundredfold.And the LORDblessedhim,
Now may Godgiveyou of the dewof heaven,And of the fatnessof the earth,And an abundanceof grainand newwine;
Now Elijahthe Tishbite,who was of the settlersof Gilead,saidto Ahab,"As the LORD,the Godof Israellives,beforewhomI stand,surelythere shall be neitherdewnor raintheseyears,exceptby my word."
Let the mountainsbringpeaceto the people,And the hills,in righteousness.
Indeed,the LORDwill givewhatis good,And our landwill yieldits produce.
The king'swrathis like the roaringof a lion,But his favoris like dewon the grass.
Then He will give[you] rainfor the seedwhichyou will sowin the ground,and bread[from] the yieldof the ground,and it will be richand plenteous;on that dayyour livestockwill grazein a roomypasture.
Insteadof your shame[you will have a] double[portion], And [instead of] humiliationthey will shoutfor joyover their portion.Thereforethey will possessa double[portion] in their land,Everlastingjoywill be theirs.
"They will comeand shoutfor joyon the heightof Zion,And they will be radiantoverthe bountyof the LORD--Overthe grainand the newwineand the oil,And overthe youngof the flockand the herd;And their lifewill be like a wateredgarden,And they will neverlanguishagain.
"They will nolongerbe a preyto the nations,and the beastsof the earthwill not devourthem; but they will livesecurely,and noonewill make[them] afraid.
Yes, I will cause men--My peopleIsrael--to walkon you and possessyou, so that you will becometheir inheritanceand neveragainbereavethem of children.'
"I will multiplythe fruitof the treeand the produceof the field,sothat you will not receiveagainthe disgraceof famineamong the nations.
For, behold,I am for you, and I will turnto you, and you will be cultivatedand sown.
Thereforethey will be like the morningcloudAnd like dewwhich soondisappears,Like chaffwhich is blownawayfrom the threshingfloorAnd like smokefrom a chimney.
I will be like the dewto Israel;He will blossomlike the lily,And he will takerootlike [the cedars of] Lebanon.
The LORDwill answerand sayto His people,"Behold,I am going to sendyou grain,newwineand oil,And you will be satisfied[in full] with them; And I will neveragainmakeyou a reproachamong the nations.
Do not fear,beastsof the field,For the pasturesof the wildernesshave turnedgreen,For the treehas borneits fruit,The figtreeand the vinehave yieldedin full.
Ifyou walkin My statutesand keepMy commandmentsso as to carrythem out,
"The remnantof Israelwill donowrongAnd tellnolies,Norwill a deceitfultongueBe foundin their mouths;For they will feedand liedownWith nooneto make them tremble."
"Therefore,becauseof you the skyhas withheldits dewand the earthhas withheldits produce.
Do considerfrom thisdayonward,from the twenty-fourthdayof the ninth[month]; from the daywhenthe templeof the LORDwas founded,consider:
Is the seedstillin the barn?Evenincludingthe vine,the figtree,the pomegranateand the olivetree,it has not borne[fruit]. Yet from thisdayon I will bless[you].'"
"Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,'Ifit is toodifficultin the sightof the remnantof thispeoplein thosedays,will it alsobe toodifficultin My sight?'declaresthe LORDof hosts.
"Then I will rebukethe devourerfor you, so that it will not destroythe fruitsof the ground;norwill your vinein the fieldcast[its grapes]," saysthe LORDof hosts.
"But seekfirstHis kingdomand His righteousness,and allthese thingswill be addedto you.
So thenlet no oneboastin men.For all thingsbelongto you,
"Let my teachingdropas the rain,My speechdistillas the dew,As the dropletson the freshgrassAnd as the showerson the herb.
Of Josephhe said,"Blessedof the LORD[be] his land,With the choicethingsof heaven,with the dew,And from the deeplyingbeneath,
"So Israeldwellsin security,The fountainof Jacobsecluded,In a landof grainand newwine;His heavensalsodropdowndew.
And the seed whose fruitis righteousnessis sownin peaceby thosewho makepeace.
