Do not say,"I will repayevil";Waitfor the LORD,and He will saveyou.
Donot say,"ThusI shall doto him as he has doneto me; I will renderto the manaccording to his work."
Thereforethussaysthe LORD,"Behold,I am going to pleadyour caseAnd exactfullvengeancefor you; And I will dryup her seaAnd makeher fountaindry.
Thussaysthe LordGOD,"BecauseEdomhas actedagainst the houseof Judahby takingvengeance,and has incurredgrievousguilt,and avengedthemselves upon them,"
You shall not takevengeance,norbearany grudgeagainstthe sonsof your people,but you shall loveyour neighboras yourself; I am the LORD.

Vengeanceis Mine, and retribution,In due timetheir footwill slip;For the dayof their calamityis near,And the impendingthingsare hasteningupon them.'
