I heardanothervoicefrom heaven,saying,"Comeout of her, my people,sothat you will not participatein her sinsand receiveof her plagues;
Lotwentout and spoketo his sons-in-law,who were to marryhis daughters,and said,"Up, getout of thisplace,for the LORDwill destroythe city."But he appearedto his sons-in-lawto be jesting.
"Whenyou seea thief,you are pleasedwith him, And you associatewith adulterers.
Goforthfrom Babylon!Fleefrom the Chaldeans!Declarewith the soundof joyfulshouting,proclaimthis,Sendit out to the endof the earth;Say,"The LORDhas redeemedHis servantJacob."
Depart,depart,goout from there,Touchnothingunclean;Goout of the midstof her, purifyyourselves, You who carrythe vesselsof the LORD.
"Wanderaway from the midstof BabylonAnd goforthfrom the landof the Chaldeans;Be also like malegoatsat the headof the flock.
"Comeforthfrom her midst,My people,And eachof you saveyourselvesFrom the fierceangerof the LORD.
You whohave escapedthe sword,Depart!Do not stay!Rememberthe LORDfrom afar,And let Jerusalemcometo your mind.
Fleefrom the midstof Babylon,And eachof you savehis life!Do not be destroyedin her punishment,For thisis the LORD'Stimeof vengeance;He is going to renderrecompenseto her.
We applied healingto Babylon,but she was not healed;Forsakeher and let us eachgoto his own country,For her judgmenthas reachedto heavenAnd towersup to the very skies.
and say,'Ifwe had been[living] in the daysof our fathers,we would not have beenpartnerswith them in [shedding] the bloodof the prophets.'
"Therefore,COMEOUT FROM THEIR MIDSTAND BE SEPARATE,"saysthe Lord."AND DO NOT TOUCHWHAT IS UNCLEAN;And I will welcomeyou.
Do not layhandsupon anyone[too] hastilyand therebyshare[responsibility for] the sinsof others;keepyourselffree from sin.
