Afterthesethingsthe wordof the LORDcameto Abramin a vision,saying,"Do not fear,Abram,I am a shieldto you; Your rewardshall be verygreat."
You have enclosedme behindand before,And laidYour handupon me.
But Mosessaidto the people,"Do not fear!Standby and seethe salvationof the LORDwhichHe will accomplishfor you today;for the Egyptianswhomyou have seentoday,you will neverseethem againforever.

I heardand my inwardpartstrembled,At the soundmy lipsquivered.Decayentersmy bones,And in my placeI tremble.BecauseI must waitquietlyfor the dayof distress,For the peopleto arise[who] will invadeus.
But immediatelyJesusspoketo them, saying,"Take courage,it is I; do not be afraid."
The guardsshookfor fearof him and becamelikedead men.
The angelsaidto the women,"Do not be afraid;for I knowthat you are lookingfor Jesuswho has been crucified.
There was recliningon Jesus'bosomoneof His disciples,whomJesusloved.
Peter,turning around,sawthe disciplewhomJesuslovedfollowing[them]; the one whoalsohad leaned backon His bosomat the supperand said,"Lord,whois the one who betraysYou?"
saying,"Writein a bookwhatyou see,and send[it] to the sevenchurches:to Ephesusand to Smyrnaand to Pergamumand to Thyatiraand to Sardisand to Philadelphiaand to Laodicea."
Johnto the sevenchurchesthat are in Asia:Graceto you and peace,from Him who is and who was and who is to come,and from the sevenSpiritswhoare beforeHis throne,
"I amthe Alphaand the Omega,"saysthe LordGod,"who is and whowas and who is to come,the Almighty."
"And to the angelof the churchin Smyrnawrite:The firstand the last,whowas dead,and has come to life,saysthis:
"I am the Alphaand the Omega,the firstand the last,the beginningand the end."
