How blessedare the peoplewho knowthe joyfulsound!O LORD,they walkin the lightof Your countenance.
When His lampshoneovermy head,[And] by His lightI walkedthrough darkness;
Shoutjoyfullyto the LORD,allthe earth.
Manyare saying,"Whowill showus [any] good?"Liftup the lightof Your countenanceupon us, O LORD!
For by their own swordthey did not possessthe land,And their own armdid not savethem, But Your righthandand Your armand the lightof Your presence,For You favoredthem.
In the morningit flourishesand sproutsanew;Toward eveningit fadesand withersaway.
Cloudsand thickdarknesssurroundHim; Righteousnessand justiceare the foundationof His throne.
In the lightof a king'sfaceis life,And his favoris like a cloudwith the springrain.
Come,houseof Jacob,and let us walkin the lightof the LORD.
You shall then sounda ram'shornabroad on the tenthday of the seventhmonth;on the dayof atonementyou shall sounda hornallthrough your land.
Behold,on the mountainsthe feetof him who bringsgood news,Who announcespeace!Celebrateyour feasts,O Judah;Payyour vows.For neveragainwill the wickedone passthrough you; He is cutoffcompletely.
"Also in the dayof your gladnessand in your appointedfeasts,and on the first[days] of your months,you shall blowthe trumpetsoveryour burntofferings,and overthe sacrificesof your peaceofferings;and they shall be as a reminderof you beforeyour God.I am the LORDyour God."
"He has not observedmisfortunein Jacob;Norhas He seentroublein Israel;The LORDhis Godis with him, And the shoutof a kingis among them.
The LORDliftup His countenanceon you, And giveyou peace.'
YOU HAVE MADE KNOWNTO ME THE WAYSOF LIFE;YOU WILL MAKE ME FULLOF GLADNESSWITH YOUR PRESENCE.'
Howwill they preachunlessthey are sent?Justas it is written,"HOWBEAUTIFULARE THE FEETOF THOSEWHO BRING GOOD NEWSOF GOOD THINGS!"
But I say,surely they have neverheard,have they? Indeedthey have; "THEIR VOICEHAS GONEOUT INTO ALLTHE EARTH,AND THEIR WORDSTO THE ENDSOF THE WORLD."
And the cityhasnoneedof the sunorof the moonto shineon it, for the gloryof Godhas illuminedit, and its lamp[is] the Lamb.
