They makeshrewdplansagainstYour people,And conspiretogether againstYour treasuredones.

The crowdrose up togetheragainstthem, and the chief magistratestoretheir robesoffthem and proceeded to order[them] to be beaten with rods.
But when they heardthis, they were cut to the quickand intendedto killthem.
