Thoughthey intendedevilagainstYou [And] deviseda plot,They will not succeed.

"Be broken,O peoples,and be shattered;And giveear,allremoteplacesof the earth.Girdyourselves, yet be shattered;Girdyourselves, yet be shattered.
Then I beatthem fineas the dustbeforethe wind;I emptiedthem out as the mireof the streets.
But when they heardthis, they were cut to the quickand intendedto killthem.

The crowdrose up togetheragainstthem, and the chief magistratestoretheir robesoffthem and proceeded to order[them] to be beaten with rods.
They were gladand agreedto givehim money.
The LORDof hostsis with us; The Godof Jacobis our stronghold.Selah.
I will givethanksto You, O Lord,among the peoples;I will singpraisesto You among the nations.
Do not forgetthe voiceof Your adversaries,The uproarof those who riseagainst You which ascendscontinually.
They makeshrewdplansagainstYour people,And conspiretogether againstYour treasuredones.
