And He rememberedHis covenantfor their sake, And relentedaccording to the greatnessof His lovingkindness.
When the angelstretchedout his handtoward Jerusalemto destroyit, the LORDrelentedfrom the calamityand saidto the angelwho destroyedthe people,"It is enough!Nowrelaxyour hand!"And the angelof the LORDwas by the threshingfloorof Araunahthe Jebusite.
But the LORDwas graciousto them and hadcompassionon them and turnedto them becauseof His covenantwith Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,and wouldnot destroythem or castthem from His presenceuntilnow.
He has rememberedHis covenantforever,The wordwhich He commandedto a thousandgenerations,
For the LORDwill judgeHis peopleAnd will havecompassionon His servants.
Whorememberedus in our lowestate,For His lovingkindnessis everlasting,
Be graciousto me, O God,according to Your lovingkindness;According to the greatnessof Your compassionblotout my transgressions.
Answerme, O LORD,for Your lovingkindnessis good;According to the greatnessof Your compassion,turnto me,
Do return,O LORD;howlong[will it be]? And be sorryfor Your servants.
So the LORDchangedHis mindaboutthe harmwhichHe saidHe would doto His people.
I shall makementionof the lovingkindnessesof the LORD,the praisesof the LORD,Accordingto allthat the LORDhas grantedus, And the greatgoodnesstoward the houseof Israel,WhichHe has grantedthem according to His compassionAnd according to the abundanceof His lovingkindnesses.
if that nationagainstwhichI have spokenturnsfrom its evil,I will relentconcerningthe calamityI plannedto bringon it.
For ifHe causesgrief,Then He will havecompassionAccording to His abundantlovingkindness.
"Nevertheless, I will rememberMy covenantwith you in the daysof your youth,and I will establishan everlastingcovenantwith you.
Howcan I giveyou up, O Ephraim?How can I surrenderyou, O Israel?Howcan I makeyou like Admah?How can I treatyou like Zeboiim?My heartis turnedoverwithinMe, AllMy compassionsare kindled.
But I will rememberfor them the covenantwith their ancestors,whomI broughtout of the landof Egyptin the sightof the nations,that I might be their God.I am the LORD.'"

"For the LORDwill vindicateHis people,And will havecompassionon His servants,WhenHe seesthat [their] strengthis gone,And thereis none[remaining], bondor free.
So they putawaythe foreigngodsfrom amongthem and servedthe LORD;and He couldbearthe miseryof Israelnolonger.
Whenthe LORDraisedup judgesfor them, the LORDwas with the judgeand deliveredthem from the handof their enemiesallthe daysof the judge;for the LORDwas movedto pityby their groaningbecauseof those who oppressedand afflictedthem.
