"Thisstone,whichI have setup as a pillar,will be God'shouse,and of allthat You giveme I will surelygivea tenthto You."
In the sixhundredthyearof Noah'slife,in the secondmonth,on the seventeenthdayof the month,on the samedayallthe fountainsof the greatdeepburstopen,and the floodgatesof the skywere opened.
Then the royalofficeransweredthe manof Godand said,"Now behold,if the LORDshould makewindowsin heaven,could sucha thingbe?" And he said,"Behold,you will seeit with your own eyes,but you will not eatof it."

On that daymenwere also appointedoverthe chambersfor the stores,the contributions,the firstfruitsand the tithes,to gatherinto them from the fieldsof the citiesthe portionsrequired by the lawfor the priestsand Levites;for Judahrejoicedoverthe priestsand Leviteswho served.
So allIsraelin the daysof Zerubbabeland Nehemiahgavethe portionsdue the singersand the gatekeepersas eachdayrequired,and setapartthe consecrated[portion] for the Levites,and the Levitessetapartthe consecrated[portion] for the sonsof Aaron.
had prepareda largeroomfor him, whereformerlythey putthe grain offerings,the frankincense,the utensilsand the tithesof grain,wineand oilprescribedfor the Levites,the singersand the gatekeepers,and the contributionsfor the priests.
Trustin the LORDand dogood;Dwellin the landand cultivatefaithfulness.
Yet He commandedthe cloudsaboveAnd openedthe doorsof heaven;
Ifthe cloudsare full,they pourout rainupon the earth;and whethera treefallstoward the southor toward the north,whereverthe treefalls,thereit lies.
"I will makethem and the placesaroundMy hilla blessing.And I will cause showersto comedownin their season;they will be showersof blessing.
"The firstof allthe firstfruitsof everykind and everycontributionof everykind, from allyour contributions,shall be for the priests;you shall also giveto the priestthe firstof your doughto cause a blessingto reston your house.
"It will comeabout in that daythat I will respond,"declaresthe LORD."I will respondto the heavens,and they will respondto the earth,
The LORDwill answerand sayto His people,"Behold,I am going to sendyou grain,newwineand oil,And you will be satisfied[in full] with them; And I will neveragainmakeyou a reproachamong the nations.
The threshingfloorswill be fullof grain,And the vatswill overflowwith the newwineand oil.
You will eatthe oldsupplyand clearout the oldbecauseof the new.
Ifyou walkin My statutesand keepMy commandmentsso as to carrythem out,
Thus allthe titheof the land,of the seedof the landor of the fruitof the tree,is the LORD'S;it is holyto the LORD.
Is the seedstillin the barn?Evenincludingthe vine,the figtree,the pomegranateand the olivetree,it has not borne[fruit]. Yet from thisdayon I will bless[you].'"

"But seekfirstHis kingdomand His righteousness,and allthese thingswill be addedto you.

"The LORDwill openfor you His goodstorehouse,the heavens,to giverainto your landin its seasonand to blessallthe workof your hand;and you shall lendto manynations,but you shall not borrow.
