"However,becauseby thisdeedyou have givenoccasion to the enemiesof the LORDto blaspheme,the childalsothat is bornto you shall surelydie."
and seattwoworthlessmenbeforehim, and let them testifyagainst him, saying,You cursedGodand the king.'Then takehim out and stonehim to death."
Then the twoworthlessmencamein and satbeforehim; and the worthlessmentestifiedagainst him, even against Naboth,beforethe people,saying,"NabothcursedGodand the king."So they tookhim outsidethe cityand stonedhim to deathwith stones.
norlet Hezekiahmake you trustin the LORD,saying,"The LORDwill surelydeliverus, and thiscitywill not be giveninto the handof the kingof Assyria."
Whoamong allthe godsof the landshave deliveredtheir landfrom my hand,that the LORDshould deliverJerusalemfrom my hand?'"
Then Eliakimthe sonof Hilkiah,whowas overthe household,and Shebnathe scribeand Joahthe sonof Asaph,the recorder,cameto Hezekiahwith their clothestornand toldhim the wordsof Rabshakeh.
"Thusyou shall sayto Hezekiahkingof Judah,Do not let your Godin whomyou trustdeceiveyou saying,"Jerusalemwill not be giveninto the handof the kingof Assyria."
Whomhave you reproachedand blasphemed?And againstwhomhave you raised[your] voice,And haughtilyliftedup your eyes?Againstthe HolyOneof Israel!
Isaiahsaidto them, "Thusyou shall sayto your master,'Thussaysthe LORD,"Do not be afraidbecauseof the wordsthat you have heard,with whichthe servantsof the kingof Assyriahave blasphemedMe.
"But putforthYour handnowand touchallthat he has; he will surelycurseYou to Your face."
Through allthisJobdid not sinnordid he blameGod.
Whenthe daysof feastinghad completedtheir cycle,Jobwould sendand consecratethem, risingup earlyin the morningand offeringburntofferings[according to] the numberof them all;for Jobsaid,"Perhapsmy sonshave sinnedand cursedGodin their hearts."ThusJobdidcontinually.
"However,putforthYour handnow,and touchhis boneand his flesh;he will curseYou to Your face."
Rememberthis,O LORD,that the enemyhas reviled,And a foolishpeoplehas spurnedYour name.
Arise,O God,[and] pleadYour own cause;Rememberhow the foolishmanreproachesYou alldaylong.
"Let them judgethe peopleat alltimes;and let it be that everymajordisputethey will bringto you, but everyminordisputethey themselves will judge.So it will be easierfor you, and they will bear[the burden] with you.

"You shall not takethe nameof the LORDyour Godin vain,for the LORDwill not leavehim unpunishedwhotakesHis namein vain.
"You shall not curseGod,norcursea rulerof your people.
God,furthermore,saidto Moses,"Thusyou shall sayto the sonsof Israel,The LORD,the Godof your fathers,the Godof Abraham,the Godof Isaac,and the Godof Jacob,has sentme to you.' Thisis My nameforever,and thisis My memorial-nameto allgenerations.
They will passthrough the land hard-pressedand famished,and it will turnout that whenthey are hungry,they will be enragedand cursetheir kingand their Godas they faceupward.
Now the sonof an Israelitewoman,whose fatherwas an Egyptian,wentout amongthe sonsof Israel;and the Israelitewoman'ssonand a manof Israelstruggledwith each other in the camp.
Thenthe high priesttorehis robesand said,"He has blasphemed!Whatfurtherneeddo we haveof witnesses?Behold,you have nowheardthe blasphemy;
For "THE NAMEOF GODIS BLASPHEMEDAMONGTHE GENTILESBECAUSEOF YOU," justas it is written.
even though I was formerlya blasphemerand a persecutorand a violent aggressor.YetI was shown mercybecauseI actedignorantlyin unbelief;
and they blasphemedthe Godof heavenbecauseof their painsand their sores;and they did not repentof their deeds.
And hugehailstones,aboutone hundred poundseach, came downfrom heavenupon men;and menblasphemedGodbecauseof the plagueof the hail,becauseits plaguewas extremelysevere.
