and [so] cause them to bearpunishmentfor guiltby eatingtheir holy[gifts]; for I am the LORDwho sanctifiesthem.'"
For my iniquitiesare goneovermy head;As a heavyburdenthey weightoomuchfor me.
"It shall be on Aaron'sforehead,and Aaronshall takeaway the iniquityof the holythingswhichthe sonsof Israelconsecrate,with regard to alltheir holygifts;and it shall alwaysbe on his forehead,that they may be acceptedbeforethe LORD.
"Whydid you not eatthe sinofferingat the holyplace?For it is mostholy,and He gaveit to you to bearaway the guiltof the congregation,to makeatonementfor them beforethe LORD.
You shall keepMy statutesand practicethem; I am the LORDwho sanctifiesyou.
so that he will not profanehis offspringamong his people;for I am the LORDwho sanctifieshim.'"
onlyhe shall not goin to the veilor comenearthe altarbecausehe has a defect,so that he will not profaneMy sanctuaries.For I am the LORDwho sanctifiesthem.'"
You shall consecratehim, therefore, for he offersthe foodof your God;he shall be holyto you; for I the LORD,who sanctifiesyou, am holy.
Then the LORDspoketo Moses,saying,
They shall therefore keepMy charge,so that they will not bearsinbecauseof it and diethereby becausethey profaneit; I am the LORDwho sanctifiesthem.
So ifanyof the fleshof the sacrificeof his peaceofferingsshould [ever] be eatenon the thirdday,he who offersit will not be accepted,[and] it will not be reckonedto his [benefit]. It shall be an offensivething,and the personwho eatsof it will bearhis [own] iniquity.
So the LORDsaidto Aaron,"You and your sonsand your father'shouseholdwith you shall bearthe guiltin connection with the sanctuary,and you and your sonswith you shall bearthe guiltin connection with your priesthood.
You will bearnosinby reasonof it when you have offeredthe bestof it. But you shall not profanethe sacredgiftsof the sonsof Israel,oryou will die.'"

and He Himselfboreour sinsin His bodyon the cross,sothat we might dieto sinand liveto righteousness;for by His woundsyou were healed.
