"He shall then sprinkleseventimesthe one who is to be cleansedfrom the leprosyand shall pronouncehim clean,and shall let the livebirdgofreeoverthe openfield.
Elishasenta messengerto him, saying,"Goand washin the Jordanseventimes,and your fleshwill be restoredto you and [you will] be clean."
So he wentdownand dipped[himself] seventimesin the Jordan,according to the wordof the manof God;and his fleshwas restoredlike the fleshof a littlechildand he was clean.
Washme thoroughlyfrom my iniquityAnd cleanseme from my sin.
Purifyme with hyssop,and I shall be clean;Washme, and I shall be whiterthansnow.
ThusHe will sprinklemanynations,Kingswill shuttheir mouthson accountof Him; For whathad not been toldthem they will see,And whatthey had not heardthey will understand.
"Then I will sprinklecleanwateron you, and you will be clean;I will cleanseyou from allyour filthinessand from allyour idols.
"Seventyweekshave been decreedfor your peopleand your holycity,to finishthe transgression,to makean endof sin,to makeatonementfor iniquity,to bringin everlastingrighteousness,to sealup visionand prophecyand to anointthe mostholy[place].
then the priestshall look,and behold,[if] the leprosyhas coveredallhis body,he shall pronounceclean[him who has] the infection;it has allturnedwhite[and] he is clean.
and the priestshall lookat him, and behold,[if] the infectionhas turnedto white,then the priestshall pronounceclean[him who has] the infection;he is clean.
"Then he shall takethe cedarwoodand the hyssopand the scarletstring,with the livebird,and dipthem in the bloodof the slainbirdas well as in the runningwater,and sprinklethe houseseventimes.
"Moreover, he shall takesomeof the bloodof the bulland sprinkle[it] with his fingeron the mercyseaton the east[side]; also in frontof the mercyseathe shall sprinklesomeof the bloodwith his fingerseventimes.
"With his fingerhe shall sprinklesomeof the bloodon it seventimesand cleanseit, and from the impuritiesof the sonsof Israelconsecrateit.
"The goatshall bearon itself alltheir iniquitiesto a solitaryland;and he shall releasethe goatin the wilderness.
and the priestshall diphis fingerin the bloodand sprinkle[it] seventimesbeforethe LORD,in frontof the veil.
and the priestshall diphis fingerin the bloodand sprinklesomeof the bloodseventimesbeforethe LORD,in frontof the veilof the sanctuary.
He sprinkledsomeof it on the altarseventimesand anointedthe altarand allits utensils,and the basinand its stand,to consecratethem.
He will againhavecompassionon us; He will treadour iniquitiesunderfoot.Yes, You will castalltheir sinsInto the depthsof the sea.
That oneshall purifyhimself from uncleannesswith the water on the thirddayand on the seventhday,[and then] he will be clean;but ifhe does not purifyhimself on the thirddayand on the seventhday,he will not be clean.
But oneof the soldierspiercedHis sidewith a spear,and immediatelybloodand watercameout.
let us draw nearwith a sincereheartin full assuranceof faith,having our heartssprinkled[clean] from an evilconscienceand our bodieswashedwith purewater.
and to Jesus,the mediatorof a newcovenant,and to the sprinkledblood,which speaksbetterthan[the blood] of Abel.
For ifthe bloodof goatsand bullsand the ashesof a heifersprinklingthosewho have been defiledsanctifyfor the cleansingof the flesh,
For when everycommandmenthad been spokenby Mosesto allthe peopleaccordingto the Law,he tookthe bloodof the calvesand the goats,with waterand scarletwooland hyssop,and sprinkledboththe bookitselfand allthe people,
And in the same wayhe sprinkledboththe tabernacleand allthe vesselsof the ministrywith the blood.
Otherwise,He would have neededto sufferoftensincethe foundationof the world;but nowonceat the consummationof the agesHe has been manifestedto put awaysinby the sacrificeof Himself.
accordingto the foreknowledgeof Godthe Father,by the sanctifying workof the Spirit,to obeyJesusChristand be sprinkledwith His blood:May graceand peacebe yoursin the fullest measure.
Thisis the One who cameby waterand blood,JesusChrist;not with the wateronly,but with the waterand with the blood.It is the Spiritwho testifies,becausethe Spiritis the truth.
