The LORDappearedto Abramand said,"To your descendantsI will givethisland."So he builtan altarthereto the LORDwho had appearedto him.
"Arise,walkabout the landthrough its lengthand breadth;for I will giveit to you."
"I will giveto you and to your descendantsafteryou, the landof your sojournings,allthe landof Canaan,for an everlastingpossession;and I will be their God."
And He said,"Ifyou will giveearnestheedto the voiceof the LORDyour God,and dowhat is rightin His sight,and giveearto His commandments,and keepallHis statutes,I will putnoneof the diseaseson you whichI have puton the Egyptians;for I, the LORD,am your healer."
The curseof the LORDis on the houseof the wicked,But He blessesthe dwellingof the righteous.
The One forminglightand creatingdarkness,Causingwell-beingand creatingcalamity;I am the LORDwho doesallthese.
The LORDfurther spoketo Mosesand to Aaron,saying:
and for the leprousgarmentor house,
Hence I have saidto you, "You are to possesstheir land,and I Myselfwill giveit to you to possessit, a landflowingwith milkand honey."I am the LORDyour God,whohas separatedyou from the peoples.
"Speakto the sonsof Israeland sayto them, 'Whenyou enterthe landwhichI am going to giveto you and reapits harvest,then you shall bringin the sheafof the firstfruitsof your harvestto the priest.
"Speakto the sonsof Israeland sayto them, 'Whenyou comeinto the landwhichI shall giveyou, then the landshall havea sabbathto the LORD.
Ifa trumpetis blownin a citywill not the peopletremble?Ifa calamityoccursin a cityhas not the LORDdoneit?
For behold,the LORDis going to commandthat the greathousebe smashedto piecesand the smallhouseto fragments.
The voiceof the LORDwill callto the city--And it is soundwisdomto fearYour name:"Hear,O tribe.Whohas appointedits time?
"I will make it goforth,"declaresthe LORDof hosts,"and it will enterthe houseof the thiefand the houseof the one who swearsfalselyby My name;and it will spendthe nightwithinthat houseand consumeit with its timberand stones."
and the landis subduedbeforethe LORD,then afterwardyou shall returnand be freeof obligationtowardthe LORDand towardIsrael,and thislandshall be yours for a possessionbeforethe LORD.
"We ourselveswill crossoverarmedin the presenceof the LORDinto the landof Canaan,and the possessionof our inheritance[shall remain] with us acrossthe Jordan."

"Whenthe LORDyour Godcutsoffthe nations,whoselandthe LORDyour Godgivesyou, and you dispossessthem and settlein their citiesand in their houses,
"Then it shall be, whenyou enterthe landwhichthe LORDyour Godgivesyou as an inheritance,and you possessit and livein it,
and writeon them allthe wordsof thislaw,when you crossover,sothat you may enterthe landwhichthe LORDyour Godgivesyou, a landflowingwith milkand honey,as the LORD,the Godof your fathers,promisedyou.
"Goup to thismountainof the Abarim,MountNebo,whichis in the landof MoaboppositeJericho,and lookat the landof Canaan,whichI am givingto the sonsof Israelfor a possession.
"The LORDwill removefrom you allsickness;and He will not puton you anyof the harmfuldiseasesof Egyptwhichyou have known,but He will laythem on allwho hateyou.
Now Joshuawas old[and] advancedin yearswhen the LORDsaidto him, "You are old[and] advancedin years,and verymuchof the landremainsto be possessed.
"The LORDkillsand makesalive;He bringsdownto Sheoland raisesup.
