"Speakto allthe congregationof the sonsof Israeland sayto them, 'You shall be holy,for I the LORDyour Godam holy.
You shall consecrateyourselves therefore and be holy,for I am the LORDyour God.
For Godhas not calledus for the purpose of impurity,but in sanctification.
Thus you are to be holyto Me, for I the LORDam holy;and I have setyou apartfrom the peoplesto be Mine.
But you are A CHOSENRACE,A royalPRIESTHOOD,A HOLYNATION,A PEOPLEFOR [God's] OWN POSSESSION,sothat you may proclaimthe excellenciesof Him who has calledyou out of darknessinto His marvelouslight;
You shall consecratehim, therefore, for he offersthe foodof your God;he shall be holyto you; for I the LORD,who sanctifiesyou, am holy.
"For you are a holypeopleto the LORDyour God,and the LORDhas chosenyou to be a peoplefor His own possessionout of allthe peopleswhoare on the faceof the earth.
"Let the one who doeswrong,stilldo wrong;and the one who is filthy,stillbe filthy;and let the one whois righteous,stillpracticerighteousness;and the one who is holy,stillkeep himself holy."

"Thereforeyou are to be perfect,as your heavenlyFatheris perfect.
Then Mosessaidto Aaron,"It is whatthe LORDspoke,saying,By those who comenearMe I will be treatedas holy,And beforeallthe peopleI will be honored.'"So Aaron,therefore, keptsilent.
"But you shall servethe LORDyour God,and He will blessyour breadand your water;and I will removesicknessfrom your midst.
and you shall be to Me a kingdomof priestsand a holynation.'Theseare the wordsthat you shall speakto the sonsof Israel."
"For I am the LORDyour God,The HolyOneof Israel,your Savior;I have givenEgyptas your ransom,Cushand Sebain your place.
The menof Beth-shemeshsaid,"Whois ableto standbeforethe LORD,thisholyGod?And to whomshall He goup from us?"
Do not renderyourselvesdetestablethrough anyof the swarmingthingsthat swarm;and you shall not makeyourselves uncleanwith them so that you becomeunclean.
Then I will takeyou for My people,and I will be your God;and you shall knowthat I am the LORDyour God,who broughtyou out from underthe burdensof the Egyptians.
Do twomen walktogetherunlessthey have madean appointment?
"For I am the LORDyour God,who stirsup the seaand its wavesroar(the LORDof hostsis His name).
"I have heardthe grumblingsof the sonsof Israel;speakto them, saying,At twilightyou shall eatmeat,and in the morningyou shall be filledwith bread;and you shall knowthat I am the LORDyour God.'"
The LORDalso saidto Moses,"Goto the peopleand consecratethem todayand tomorrow,and let them washtheir garments;
"You shall be holymento Me, therefore you shall not eat[any] fleshtornto pieces in the field;you shall throwit to the dogs.
"Speakto the sonsof Israeland sayto them, 'I am the LORDyour God.
Everyoneof you shall reverencehis motherand his father,and you shall keepMy sabbaths;I am the LORDyour God.
sothat you may rememberto doallMy commandmentsand be holyto your God.
"You shall dothe samewith your oxen[and] with your sheep.It shall be with its mothersevendays;on the eighthdayyou shall giveit to Me.
Do not turnto idolsor makefor yourselves moltengods;I am the LORDyour God.
Norshall you gleanyour vineyard,norshall you gatherthe fallenfruitof your vineyard;you shall leavethem for the needyand for the stranger.I am the LORDyour God.
Then Joshuasaidto the people,"You will not be ableto servethe LORD,for He is a holyGod.He is a jealousGod;He will not forgiveyour transgressionor your sins.
"Thereis nooneholylike the LORD,Indeed,thereis noonebesidesYou, Noris thereany rocklike our God.
