Her consecratedoneswere purerthansnow,They were whiterthanmilk;They were moreruddy[in] bodythancorals,Their polishing[was like] lapislazuli.
"It cannotbe valuedin the goldof Ophir,In preciousonyx,or sapphire.
"Coraland crystalare not to be mentioned;And the acquisitionof wisdomis above[that of] pearls.
Let our sonsin their youthbe as grown-upplants,And our daughtersas cornerpillars fashionedas for a palace;
Purifyme with hyssop,and I shall be clean;Washme, and I shall be whiterthansnow.
and they sawthe Godof Israel;and underHis feetthere appeared to be a pavementof sapphire,as clearas the skyitself.
"My belovedis dazzlingand ruddy,Outstandingamongtenthousand.
"His legsare pillarsof alabasterSeton pedestalsof puregold;His appearanceis like LebanonChoiceas the cedars.
At the endof tendaystheir appearanceseemedbetterand they were fatterthanallthe youthswhohad been eatingthe king'schoicefood.
"For he will be greatin the sightof the Lord;and he will drinknowineorliquor,and he will be filledwith the HolySpiritwhile yetin his mother'swomb.
"For behold,you shall conceiveand givebirthto a son,and norazorshall comeupon his head,for the boyshall be a Naziriteto Godfrom the womb;and he shall beginto deliverIsraelfrom the handsof the Philistines."
"But he saidto me, 'Behold,you shall conceiveand givebirthto a son,and nowyou shall not drinkwineor strongdrinknoreatanyuncleanthing,for the boyshall be a Naziriteto Godfrom the wombto the dayof his death.'"
So he toldher all[that was] in his heartand saidto her, "A razorhas nevercomeon my head,for I have been a Naziriteto Godfrom my mother'swomb.IfI am shaved,then my strengthwill leaveme and I will becomeweakand be like any[other] man."
So he sentand broughthim in. Now he was ruddy,with beautifuleyesand a handsomeappearance.And the LORDsaid,"Arise,anointhim; for thisis he."
