Is it rightfor You indeedto oppress,To rejectthe laborof Your hands,And to lookfavorablyon the schemesof the wicked?
Knowthenthat Godhas wrongedme And has closedHis netaroundme.
"Behold,I cry,'Violence!'but I getnoanswer;I shoutfor help,but thereis nojustice.
Whois the Almighty,that we should serveHim, And whatwould we gainifwe entreatHim?'
"Let his own eyesseehis decay,And let him drinkof the wrathof the Almighty.
"For Jobhas said,I am righteous,But Godhas takenawaymy right;
"SurelyGodwill not listento an empty[cry], Norwill the Almightyregardit.
"Whohas appointedHim His way,And whohas said,You have donewrong'?
"I will fetchmy knowledgefrom afar,And I will ascriberighteousnessto my Maker.
"The Almighty--we cannotfindHim; He is exaltedin powerAnd He will not doviolenceto justiceand abundantrighteousness.
Can mankindbe justbeforeGod?Can a manbe purebeforehis Maker?
"Will the faultfindercontendwith the Almighty?Let him who reprovesGodanswerit."
"Will you reallyannulMy judgment?Will you condemnMe that you may be justified?
"In truthI knowthat this is so;But howcan a manbe in the rightbeforeGod?
Righteousnessand justiceare the foundationof Your throne;Lovingkindnessand truthgobeforeYou.
The strengthof the Kinglovesjustice;You have establishedequity;You have executedjusticeand righteousnessin Jacob.
"Yet you say,The wayof the Lordis not right.'Hearnow,O houseof Israel!Is My waynot right?Is it not your waysthat are not right?
"Yet your fellowcitizenssay,'The wayof the Lordis not right,'when it is their own waythat is not right.
"Yet you say,The wayof the Lordis not right.'O houseof Israel,I will judgeeachof you according to his ways."
"Therefore the LORDhas keptthe calamityin storeand broughtit on us; for the LORDour Godis righteouswith respectto allHis deedswhichHe has done,but we have not obeyedHis voice.
But becauseof your stubbornnessand unrepentantheartyou are storingup wrathfor yourselfin the dayof wrathand revelationof the righteous judgmentof God,

And they sangthe songof Moses,the bond-servantof God,and the songof the Lamb,saying,"Greatand marvelousare Your works,O LordGod,the Almighty;Righteousand true are Your ways,Kingof the nations!
And I heardthe altarsaying,"Yes,O LordGod,the Almighty,true and righteousare Your judgments."
