The Lordhas becomelike an enemy.He has swallowedup Israel;He has swallowedup allits palaces,He has destroyedits strongholdsAnd multipliedin the daughterof JudahMourningand moaning.
For they sowthe windAnd they reapthe whirlwind.The standinggrainhasnoheads;It yieldsnograin.Shouldit yield,strangerswould swallowit up.
