"He has strippedmy honorfrom me And removedthe crownfrom my head.
"He has castme into the mire,And I have becomelikedustand ashes.
When I madesackclothmy clothing,I becamea bywordto them.
Let the enemypursuemy souland overtake[it]; And let him tramplemy lifedownto the groundAnd laymy gloryin the dust.Selah.
And allthe hornsof the wickedHe will cutoff,[But] the hornsof the righteouswill be liftedup.
Do not liftup your hornon high,Do not speakwith insolentpride.'"
Therefore in that daythe LordGODof hostscalled[you] to weeping,to wailing,To shavingthe headand to wearingsackcloth.
Let him puthis mouthin the dust,Perhapsthereis hope.
Then Hannahprayedand said,"My heartexultsin the LORD;My hornis exaltedin the LORD,My mouthspeaksboldlyagainstmy enemies,BecauseI rejoicein Your salvation.
