Then the LORDGodformedmanof dustfrom the ground,and breathedinto his nostrilsthe breathof life;and manbecamea livingbeing.
"Will not His majestyterrifyyou, And the dreadof Him fallon you?
"Be silentbeforeme so that I may speak;Then let comeon me whatmay.
"Memoryof him perishesfrom the earth,And he has nonameabroad.
"Howthen will you vainlycomfortme, For your answersremain[full of] falsehood?"
Then Jobcontinuedhis discourseand said,
And Jobagaintookup his discourseand said,
Howmuchmorethose who dwellin housesof clay,Whosefoundationis in the dust,Who are crushedbeforethe moth!
But You, O LORD,abideforever,And Your nameto allgenerations.
Let them be beforethe LORDcontinually,That He may cutofftheir memoryfrom the earth;
The faceof the LORDis against evildoers,To cutoffthe memoryof them from the earth.
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Writethisin a bookas a memorialand reciteit to Joshua,that I will utterlyblotout the memoryof Amalekfrom underheaven."
The memoryof the righteousis blessed,But the nameof the wickedwill rot.
The deadwill not live,the departedspiritswill not rise;ThereforeYou have punishedand destroyedthem, And You have wipedout allremembranceof them.
