For thussaysthe LORD,"Behold,those whowere not sentencedto drinkthe cupwill certainlydrink[it], and are you the onewho will be completelyacquitted?You will not be acquitted,but you will certainlydrink[it].
"Becausejustas you drankon My holymountain,Allthe nationswill drinkcontinually.They will drinkand swallowAnd becomeas if they had neverexisted.
"But as for you, O JacobMy servant,do not fear,Norbe dismayed,O Israel!For, see,I am going to saveyou from afar,And your descendantsfrom the landof their captivity;And Jacobwill returnand be undisturbedAnd secure,with noonemaking [him] tremble.
For I am with you,' declaresthe LORD,'to saveyou; For I will destroycompletelyallthe nationswhereI have scatteredyou, OnlyI will not destroyyou completely.But I will chastenyou justlyAnd will by nomeansleaveyou unpunished.'
For thusthe LORD,the Godof Israel,saysto me, "Takethiscupof the wineof wrathfrom My handand cause allthe nationsto whomI sendyou to drinkit.
He who mocksthe poortauntshis Maker;He who rejoicesat calamitywill not gounpunished.
But Jesusanswered,"You do not knowwhatyou are asking.Are you ableto drinkthe cupthat I am aboutto drink?"They saidto Him, "We are able."
