then My covenantmay alsobe brokenwith DavidMy servantso that he will not havea sonto reignon his throne,and with the Leviticalpriests,My ministers.
"Trulyis not my housesowith God?For He has madean everlastingcovenantwith me, Orderedin allthings,and secured;For allmy salvationand all[my] desire,Will He not indeedmake [it] grow?
Yet the LORDwas not willingto destroythe houseof Davidbecauseof the covenantwhichHe had madewith David,and sinceHe had promisedto givea lampto him and his sonsforever.
then I will establishyour royalthroneas I covenantedwith your fatherDavid,saying,You shall not lacka man[to be] rulerin Israel.'
"ThereI will cause the hornof Davidto springforth;I have prepareda lampfor Mine anointed.
"My covenantI will not violate,Norwill I alterthe utteranceof My lips.
"His descendantsshall endureforeverAnd his throneas the sunbeforeMe.
"Inclineyour earand cometo Me. Listen,that you may live;And I will makean everlastingcovenantwith you, [According to] the faithfulmerciesshown to David.
"For justas the newheavensand the newearthWhichI makewill endurebeforeMe," declaresthe LORD,"Soyour offspringand your namewill endure.
and the Leviticalpriestsshall neverlacka manbeforeMe to offerburntofferings,to burngrain offeringsand to preparesacrificescontinually.'"
"And to Him was givendominion,Gloryand a kingdom,That allthe peoples,nationsand [men of every] languageMight serveHim. His dominionis an everlastingdominionWhichwill not passaway;And His kingdomis one Whichwill not be destroyed.
"Heavenand earthwill passaway,but My wordswill not pass away.
"You have madethem [to be] a kingdomand prieststo our God;and they will reignupon the earth."
