Yet those who waitfor the LORDWill gainnewstrength;They will mountup [with] wingslike eagles,They will runand not gettired,They will walkand not becomeweary.
"Nevertheless the righteouswill holdto his way,And he who has cleanhandswill growstrongerand stronger.
Who satisfiesyour yearswith goodthings,[So that] your youthis renewedlike the eagle.
Behold,as the eyesof servants[look] to the handof their master,As the eyesof a maidto the handof her mistress,Soour eyes[look] to the LORDour God,UntilHe is graciousto us.
On the dayI called,You answeredme; You mademe boldwith strengthin my soul.
Save,O LORD;May the Kinganswerus in the daywe call.
Let integrityand uprightnesspreserveme, For I waitfor You.
Indeed,noneof those who waitfor You will be ashamed;Those who dealtreacherouslywithoutcausewill be ashamed.
Leadme in Your truthand teachme, For You are the Godof my salvation;For You I waitallthe day.
Waitfor the LORDand keepHis way,And He will exaltyou to inheritthe land;When the wickedare cutoff,you will seeit.
I waitedpatientlyfor the LORD;And He inclinedto me and heardmy cry.
They gofrom strengthto strength,[Every one of them] appearsbeforeGodin Zion.
O LORDGodof hosts,hearmy prayer;Giveear,O Godof Jacob!Selah.
It is goodto givethanksto the LORDAnd to singpraisesto Your name,O MostHigh;
Plantedin the houseof the LORD,They will flourishin the courtsof our God.
You yourselveshave seenwhatI didto the Egyptians,and [how] I boreyou on eagles'wings,and broughtyou to Myself.
The wayof an eaglein the sky,The wayof a serpenton a rock,The wayof a shipin the middleof the sea,And the wayof a manwith a maid.
"Whois thiscomingup from the wildernessLeaningon her beloved?""Beneaththe appletreeI awakenedyou; Thereyour motherwas in laborwith you, Thereshe was in labor[and] gaveyou birth.
And it will be saidin that day,"Behold,thisis our Godfor whom we have waitedthat He might saveus. Thisis the LORDfor whom we have waited;Let us rejoiceand be gladin His salvation."
For thusthe LordGOD,the HolyOneof Israel,has said,"In repentanceand restyou will be saved,In quietnessand trustis your strength."But you were not willing,
Thereforethe LORDlongsto be graciousto you, And thereforeHe waits on highto havecompassionon you. For the LORDis a Godof justice;How blessedare allthose who longfor Him.
"Coastlands,listen to Me in silence,And let the peoplesgainnewstrength;Let them comeforward,thenlet them speak;Let us cometogetherfor judgment.
For from daysof oldthey have not heardorperceivedby ear,Norhas the eyeseena GodbesidesYou, Who actsin behalf of the one who waitsfor Him.
And I will waitfor the LORDwho is hidingHis facefrom the houseof Jacob;I will even lookeagerlyfor Him.
"Moabhas been destroyedand men have goneup to his cities;His choicestyoungmenhave also gonedownto the slaughter,"Declaresthe King,whose nameis the LORDof hosts.
"And I will strengthenthem in the LORD,And in His namethey will walk,"declaresthe LORD.
NowHe was tellingthem a parableto show that at all timesthey oughtto prayand not to lose heart,
But ifwe hopefor whatwe do not see,with perseverancewe wait eagerlyfor it.
Therefore,since we havethisministry,as we received mercy,we do not lose heart,
Thereforewe do not lose heart,but thoughour outermanis decaying,yetour inner manis being reneweddayby day.
Let us not lose heartin doinggood,for in duetimewe will reapif we do not grow weary.
"Like an eaglethat stirsup its nest,That hoversoverits young,He spreadHis wingsand caughtthem, He carriedthem on His pinions.
"Your lockswill be ironand bronze,And according to your days,so will your leisurelywalkbe.
and to waitfor His Sonfrom heaven,whomHe raisedfrom the dead,[that is] Jesus,who rescuesus from the wrathto come.
Therefore,since we haveso greata cloudof witnessessurroundingus, let us alsolay asideeveryencumbranceand the sinwhich so easily entanglesus, and let us runwith endurancethe racethat is set beforeus,
For considerHim who has enduredsuchhostilityby sinnersagainstHimself,sothat you will not grow wearyand loseheart.
"I am stillas strongtodayas I was in the dayMosessentme; as my strengthwas then,so my strengthis now,for warand for goingout and comingin.
But the twowingsof the greateaglewere givento the woman,sothat she could flyinto the wildernessto her place,whereshe was nourishedfor a timeand timesand halfa time,from the presenceof the serpent.
and you haveperseveranceand have enduredfor My name'ssake,and have not grown weary.
The firstcreature[was] likea lion,and the secondcreaturelikea calf,and the thirdcreaturehada facelikethat of a man,and the fourthcreature[was] likea flyingeagle.
Then Samsoncalledto the LORDand said,"O LordGOD,pleaserememberme and pleasestrengthenme justthistime,O God,that I may at oncebe avengedof the Philistinesfor my twoeyes."
