Now he hadstillanotherdream,and relatedit to his brothers,and said,"Lo,I have hadstillanother dream;and behold,the sunand the moonand elevenstarswere bowingdownto me."
But Godcameto Abimelechin a dreamof the night,and saidto him, "Behold,you are a deadman becauseof the womanwhomyou have taken,for she is married."
He related[it] to his fatherand to his brothers;and his fatherrebukedhim and saidto him, "Whatis thisdreamthat you have had?Shall I and your motherand your brothersactuallycometo bowourselves downbefore you to the ground?"
for behold,we were bindingsheavesin the field,and lo,my sheafroseup and alsostooderect;and behold,your sheavesgatheredaroundand boweddownto my sheaf."
Then his brotherssaidto him, "Are you actuallygoing to reignoverus? Orare you reallygoing to ruleover us?" So they hatedhim evenmorefor his dreamsand for his words.
Now Josephsaidto Pharaoh,"Pharaoh'sdreamsare one[and the same]; Godhas toldto PharaohwhatHe is about to do.
"Now as for the repeatingof the dreamto Pharaohtwice,[it means] that the matteris determinedby God,and Godwill quicklybringit about.
Now Josephwas the ruleroverthe land;he was the one who soldto allthe peopleof the land.And Joseph'sbrotherscameand boweddownto him with [their] facesto the ground.
When Josephcamehome,they broughtinto the houseto him the presentwhichwas in their handand bowedto the groundbefore him.
They said,"Your servantour fatheris well;he is stillalive."They boweddownin homage.
When Judahand his brotherscameto Joseph'shouse,he was stillthere,and they fellto the groundbeforehim.
"My lordaskedhis servants,saying,'Haveyou a fatherora brother?'
"Hurryand goup to my father,and sayto him, 'Thussaysyour sonJoseph,"Godhas mademe lordof allEgypt;comedownto me, do not delay.
Josephpreparedhis chariotand wentup to Goshento meethis fatherIsrael;as soon as he appearedbeforehim, he fellon his neckand wepton his necka longtime.
Josephprovidedhis fatherand his brothersand allhis father'shouseholdwith food,accordingto their littleones.
It grewup to the hostof heavenand caused someof the hostand someof the starsto fallto the earth,and it trampledthem down.
He said,"HearnowMy words:Ifthere is a prophetamong you, I, the LORD,shall makeMyself knownto him in a vision.I shall speakwith him in a dream.
sothat you will proveyourselves to be blamelessand innocent,childrenof Godabove reproachin the midstof a crookedand perversegeneration,amongwhomyou appearas lightsin the world,
