So Esaulivedin the hillcountryof Seir;Esauis Edom.

In his daysEdomrevoltedfrom underthe handof Judah,and madea kingoverthemselves.
"Thenthe chiefsof Edomwere dismayed;The leadersof Moab,tremblinggripsthem; Allthe inhabitantsof Canaanhave meltedaway.
