When Jacobhad cookedstew,Esaucamein from the fieldand he was famished;
and Esausaidto Jacob,"Pleaselet me havea swallowof that redstuffthere, for I am famished."Thereforehis namewas calledEdom.
Then JacobgaveEsaubreadand lentilstew;and he ateand drank,and roseand wenton his way.Thus Esaudespisedhis birthright.
