Eleazarbecamethe fatherof Phinehas,[and] Phinehasbecamethe fatherof Abishua,
"Behold,Amariahthe chiefpriestwill be overyou in allthat pertainsto the LORD,and Zebadiahthe sonof Ishmael,the rulerof the houseof Judah,in allthat pertainsto the king.Also the Levitesshall be officersbeforeyou. Actresolutely,and the LORDbe with the upright."
Azariahthe chiefpriestand allthe priestslookedat him, and behold,he [was] leprouson his forehead;and they hurriedhim out of there,and he himselfalsohastenedto getout becausethe LORDhad smittenhim.

ThisEzrawentup from Babylon,and he was a scribeskilledin the lawof Moses,whichthe LORDGodof Israelhad given;and the kinggrantedhim allhe requestedbecause the handof the LORDhis God[was] upon him.
Aaron'ssonEleazarmarriedoneof the daughtersof Putiel,and she borehim Phinehas.Theseare the headsof the fathers'[households] of the Levitesaccording to their families.
Then Mosesspoketo Aaron,and to his survivingsons,Eleazarand Ithamar,"Takethe grain offeringthat is leftoverfrom the LORD'Sofferingsby fireand eatit unleavenedbesidethe altar,for it is mostholy.
But Mosessearchedcarefullyfor the goatof the sinoffering,and behold,it had been burnedup! So he was angrywith Aaron'ssurvivingsonsEleazarand Ithamar,saying,
Then Mosessaidto Aaronand to his sonsEleazarand Ithamar,"Do not uncoveryour headsnortearyour clothes,so that you will not dieand that He will not becomewrathfulagainstallthe congregation.But your kinsmen,the wholehouseof Israel,shall bewailthe burningwhichthe LORDhas broughtabout.
They stoodbeforeMosesand beforeEleazarthe priestand beforethe leadersand allthe congregation,at the doorwayof the tentof meeting,saying,
and Eleazarthe sonof Aaronthe priest[was] the chiefof the leadersof Levi,[and had] the oversightof those who performthe dutiesof the sanctuary.
Mosesand Eleazarthe priestdidjustas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
So Mosesand Eleazarthe priesttookthe goldfrom the captainsof thousandsand of hundreds,and broughtit to the tentof meetingas a memorialfor the sonsof Israelbeforethe LORD.
Mosessentthem, a thousandfrom each tribe,to the war,and Phinehasthe sonof Eleazarthe priest,to the warwith them, and the holyvesselsand the trumpetsfor the alarmin his hand.
And noonetakesthe honorto himself,but [receives it] when he is calledby God,evenas Aaronwas.
Now theseare [the territories] whichthe sonsof Israelinheritedin the landof Canaan,whichEleazarthe priest,and Joshuathe sonof Nun,and the headsof the householdsof the tribesof the sonsof Israelapportionedto them for an inheritance,
Then the sonsof Israelsentto the sonsof Reubenand to the sonsof Gadand to the half-tribeof Manasseh,into the landof Gilead,Phinehasthe sonof Eleazarthe priest,
And Phinehasthe sonof Eleazarthe priestsaidto the sonsof Reubenand to the sonsof Gadand to the sonsof Manasseh,"Todaywe knowthat the LORDis in our midst,becauseyou have not committedthisunfaithfulactagainst the LORD;nowyou have deliveredthe sonsof Israelfrom the handof the LORD."
And Eleazarthe sonof Aarondied;and they buriedhim at Gibeahof Phinehashis son,whichwas givenhim in the hillcountryof Ephraim.
and Phinehasthe sonof Eleazar,Aaron'sson,stoodbeforeit to [minister] in thosedays),saying,"Shall I yetagaingoout to battleagainstthe sonsof my brotherBenjamin,orshall I cease?"And the LORDsaid,"Goup, for tomorrowI will deliverthem into your hand."
