"RememberAbraham,Isaac,and Israel,Your servantsto whomYou sworeby Yourself, and saidto them, 'I will multiplyyour descendantsas the starsof the heavens,and allthislandof whichI have spokenI will giveto your descendants,and they shall inherit[it] forever.'"
And I will makeyou a greatnation,And I will blessyou, And makeyour namegreat;And so you shall be a blessing;
The LORDappearedto Abramand said,"To your descendantsI will givethisland."So he builtan altarthereto the LORDwho had appearedto him.
On that daythe LORDmadea covenantwith Abram,saying,"To your descendantsI have giventhisland,From the riverof Egyptas faras the greatriver,the riverEuphrates:
And He tookhim outsideand said,"Nowlooktoward the heavens,and countthe stars,ifyou are ableto countthem." And He saidto him, "Soshall your descendantsbe."
And He saidto him, "I am the LORDwhobroughtyou out of Urof the Chaldeans,to giveyou thislandto possessit."
"I will giveto you and to your descendantsafteryou, the landof your sojournings,allthe landof Canaan,for an everlastingpossession;and I will be their God."
and said,"By Myself I have sworn,declaresthe LORD,becauseyou have donethisthingand have not withheldyour son,your onlyson,
indeedI will greatlyblessyou, and I will greatlymultiplyyour seedas the starsof the heavensand as the sandwhichis on the seashore;and your seedshall possessthe gateof their enemies.
"The LORD,the Godof heaven,whotookme from my father'shouseand from the landof my birth,and whospoketo me and whosworeto me, saying,To your descendantsI will givethisland,'He will sendHis angelbeforeyou, and you will takea wifefor my sonfrom there.
The angelwho has redeemedme from allevil,Blessthe lads;And may my nameliveon in them, And the namesof my fathersAbrahamand Isaac;And may they growinto a multitudein the midstof the earth."
"Now whenthe LORDbringsyou to the landof the Canaanite,as He sworeto you and to your fathers,and givesit to you,
"It shall be whenthe LORDbringsyou to the landof the Canaanite,the Hittite,the Amorite,the Hiviteand the Jebusite,whichHe sworeto your fathersto giveyou, a landflowingwith milkand honey,that you shall observethisritein thismonth.
Then the LORDspoketo Moses,"Depart,goup from here,you and the peoplewhomyou have broughtup from the landof Egypt,to the landof whichI sworeto Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,saying,To your descendantsI will giveit.'
then I will rememberMy covenantwith Jacob,and I will rememberalsoMy covenantwith Isaac,and My covenantwith Abrahamas well,and I will rememberthe land.
The LORDyour Godhas multipliedyou, and behold,you are this daylike the starsof heavenin number.
but becausethe LORDlovedyou and keptthe oathwhichHe sworeto your forefathers,the LORDbroughtyou out by a mightyhandand redeemedyou from the houseof slavery,from the handof Pharaohkingof Egypt.
RememberYour servants,Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob;do not lookat the stubbornnessof thispeopleor at their wickednessor their sin.
For when Godmade the promiseto Abraham,sinceHe couldswearby no onegreater,He sworeby Himself,
