Then the LORDspoketo Moses,"Godown,warnthe people,sothat they do not breakthroughto the LORDto gaze,and manyof them perish.
Then He saidto Moses,"Comeup to the LORD,you and Aaron,Nadaband Abihuand seventyof the eldersof Israel,and you shall worshipat a distance.
Go[then], eatyour breadin happinessand drinkyour winewith a cheerfulheart;for Godhas alreadyapprovedyour works.
"Their nobleshave senttheir servantsfor water;They have cometo the cisternsand foundnowater.They have returnedwith their vesselsempty;They have beenputto shameand humiliated,And they covertheir heads.
"For howcansucha servantof my lordtalkwith suchas my lord?As for me, there remainsjust nownostrengthin me, norhas any breathbeen leftin me."
With him I speakmouthto mouth,Even openly,and not in darksayings,And he beholdsthe formof the LORD.Whythen were you not afraidTo speakagainst My servant,against Moses?"
"The well,which the leaderssank,Which the noblesof the peopledug,With the scepter[and] with their staffs."And from the wilderness[they continued] to Mattanah,
"Therealso you and your householdsshall eatbeforethe LORDyour God,and rejoicein allyour undertakingsin whichthe LORDyour Godhas blessedyou.
"Has [any] peopleheardthe voiceof Godspeakingfrom the midstof the fire,as you have heard[it], and survived?
So Manoahsaidto his wife,"We will surelydie,for we have seenGod."
"Thensurvivorscamedownto the nobles;The peopleof the LORDcamedownto me as warriors.
